Philadelphia Police Officers shot a man several times last night when they say he pointed a gun in their direction. This happened on the 2900 block of amber street. Detectives say they tried to stop him earlier but he ran off. When they cornered him he raised a gun to him. Officers fired repeatedly. He was taken to temple hospital and remains there tonight. Mean whiem one of the bullets hit a woman in the leg who was walking about a block away. She was streeted and released. A woman accused of driving drunk slammed head on into a cherry hill patrol car this morning. She was driving the wrong way on i70 near kingston drive. The woman was driving east in the westbound lanes and drove into the police car. She and the officer were treated at the hospital and released. The woman has been charged with dui. Also four people were involved in a crash this afternoon on route 55 franklin township. The driver lost control, went off the road and hit several trees. Two of the four inside were ejected.
