Criminal penalties, that include being fined a thousand dollars for each infraction. I tried to contact the iowa board of cosmotology which is under the Iowa Department of Public Health. They said, idph is unable to comment on pending litigation Public Health officials added that the legislature did look at this issue last session but declined to take action. Des Moines Police think theyve identified the vehicle involved. Witnesses saw what looked to be a fight about to break out, and students hop into an suv and fire off a gun. It happened about a 1 2 block from east highs campus, as the students were leaving. A Des Moines Public Schools spokesperson says east high went into lockdown mode for seven minutes as the situation was underway. Something that happened in a school tops headlines. Richland county sheriff leon lott blamed the student and what he called her disruptive, disrespectful behavior for the encounter that ended with her on the floor and tossed from her algebra class. The costumes were actually created by nurses there. They came up with the idea all on their own as a way to get some smiles from parents, who are often dealing with some scary circumstances.
