Then a few hours later in this Altamonte Springs someone shot and killed a 15yearold around last night, another officer forced to shoot someone on highway 792 in sanford. Sanford police say this intersection behind me is where the gun fire was exchanged. One suspect is in custody, one person is shot and the fdle is investigating this officerinvolved shooting. Officers had to close down a couple lanes last night. They were responding to reports of a suspicious person right night around 8 00 p. M. Shots were fired and from the man shot in the arm from the airport and americanana boulevard. Police confronted the suspect and took him into custody. Its unclear if that person shot in the arm was a bystander or was the suspect. This is still an ongoing investigation. Im still waiting to get the identity of that suspect and victim. It ended on south street. An elderly Man Told Police she was carjacked by a woman and two armed men. Officers spotted the car, eventually cornered the woman driving in a small parking lot. Officers say they fired to protect themselves. All of the suspects were arrested. Seminole county deputies trying to figure out who killed that 15yearold in east Altamonte Springs. It happened at 3 30 yesterday afternoon. Someone standing on the street shot him, them the car crashed into a light pole. Deputies say he was laying in the middle of the street when he he died at the hospital. So far no arrests in that case. Orange countys medical examiner is trying to identify a dead body floating in the lake in lake jesamin. Detectives not saying if they suspect foul play, but looking into whether the man was week. Marion county deputies still looking for a killer, whoever it is robbed and killed 57yearold Tamara Bedenbaugh. Investigators think it started out as a break in. The killer got away with money and jewelry. Investigators believe bedenbaugh died four counts of possessing child important. Accusing 60yearold mark prints. They found four files. He was booked in the Seminole County jail on 140,000. Police in Daytona Beach and the Salvation Army teamed and moved the homeless who had been camping out in front of the Administration Center in front of Daytona Beach now for weeks now. They got the go ahead to move the camp. One person was arrested because they refused to leave. Detectives witnessed a lot more criminal activity at the camp. Drug abuse, domestic abuse, shooting up in the bathrooms, beatdowns, a certified gang member who was the camp leader at night. Now, no officers were hurt, the suspect wasnt hurt, but a bystander did receive injuries injuries and there were nonlife threatening injuries. That person was shot in the arm. Lets take a look at the mug shot of the suspect. Police say they identified him as rashad smith. Now, he was taken into custody last night, and hes charged with attempted homicide, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, discharging a weapon in public, and resisting arrest. Three separate shootings friday into friday night. Two of them involved two officers shooting their weapons. It started yesterday afternoon when an Orlando Police officer shot a woman near bumbee avenue and south street. Then later in Altamonte Springs 15yearold. Later in the night another officer fired their weapon on highway 1792 in sanford. Morning. Reporter good morning, tom. It was around 6 40 when san form Police Responded to a 911 call when they say people were reporting a man was walking along here pointing his gun at drivers. Now, he did not fire at any of those drivers, but when officers arrived here on scene they say the suspect opened fire, so the officers returned fire there as well, and during that exchange of gun fire an innocent bystander was shot in the arm, and he was taken to Central Florida regional hospital. Now, again, during the course of everything they were able to apprehend that suspect. Lets take a look at his mug shot. Its roshad smith, attempted homicide, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, discharging a weapon in public and resisting arrest. The fdle is investigating this officerinvolved shooting. Cameras. I asked Sanford Police if they have any recording capabilities. They do not. There are just live cam remarks there are a lot of surrounding businesses here as well, and they say they cannot release any of that video because still a part of that ongoing investigation. An officer shot a woman in the arm after cops say she led them on a car chase thasm woman is 34yearold danielle evans. Street. An elderly Man Told Police he was carjacked by a woman and two armed men. Officers spotted the car, driver in a small parking lot. Officers fired their weapons to protect themselves, they say. All of the suspects were arrested. The Seminole County Sheriffs Office is investigating a shooting that killed a teenage boy. That was the third in this violent friday. Happened about 3 30 yesterday. Deputies say 15yearold harris was driving on Central Street near pine when someone standing on the street shot him. Then his car crashed into a light pole. Deputies say when they got there they found harris lying in the street. He died at the hospital. Police have not arrested anyone in that case yet. Medical examiner working to identify a man found dead floating in a lake. Deputies for got the call yesterday morning. Detectives are not saying if they suspect foul play, but they are looking into whether the man earlier in the week. Deputies still searching for a killer in Marion County. The person robbed and killed 57yearold Tamara Bedenbaugh. Investigators believe it started out as a break in. The killer got away with money and jewelry. Investigators think that Tamara Bedenbaugh died early sunday. The fdle says 60yearold mark shulman had a computer at home to download the illegal imagines. Agents searched his home and found four files. Shulman was booked into the Seminole County jail on 140,000 bond. Daytona beach police and the Salvation Army teamed up and moved the homeless who have been camping out in front of Volusia County building on beach street for weeks. Police say they finally got the go ahead and move the homeless one person was arrested because they refused to leave. However detectives say they witnessed a lot more criminal activity at the camp. Drug use, alcohol abuse, domestic abuse, prostitution, shooting up in the bathrooms, beatdowns, certified gang member who according to my detectives was the camp leader at night. A few hours later in Altamonte Springs someone shot and killed a 15yearold around 3 30 on Central Street. Last night another officer opened fire. This one happened on highway 1792. Here in sanford when police say they received 911 calls from drivers saying they saw a man walking down us1792 pointing a gun at the driver. Now, police say he did not shoot at the driver, but when Police Officers arrived to confront that suspect he opened fire, so then Sanford Police returned fire. Now, the suspect was not shot but an innocent bystander was its unclear at this point if it was police or the suspect who shot that person, but lets take a look at the mug shot. This is the person they arrested yesterday, roshad smith. Discharging a weapon in public and resisting arrest. As of right now the fdle is assisting with this investigation.
