How did you get inspired to recover and have a positive outlook . Well, i went through a lot of things. The main thing is my children. I wanted to be a better father. I really felt like with each attempt, and failed attempt, more hope and i was getting a there is a hope chapter of me spending ten days in the county locked up. There are things that are not proud of. So what happened in iraq. I hit an iud. I woke up six days later the hospital. What was the low point of recovery . You were arrested . Yes, i have more embarrassing moments. It is Christmas Morning and being afraid i am going to ruin christmas for my children. When i did the book and going through it for the last time and doing the audio book, wow, i am sharing this, a lot of people are going to read this, it is almost embarrassing and only one suffering, and people are not alone and get the light at the end of the tunnel. What was the turning point . There was no single moment. It is a building of different things. I share, you know, the upbeat stuff of mens health and races and danceing with the stars. You are ripped were you this athletic before the injury . Yes. I used fitness to pull myself out. There was a time i started to go back to the gym and quit. Once i got in and became determined and i pushed. That pulled me out. Wow. I try to get there as often as i can. I tree to do three days a week. We talked about this before; how are we doing for the veterans in this country . It is a political issue. As an injured veteran, no matter where i go, people are appreciative. People have been supportive. What i have set out to do is push the positive stories of the veterans. Too often we think of the veteran.
