Two bodies were recovered over the weekend. Paul ammons and Timothy Conklin of westbury, long island. Autopsies revealed both men drowned. Harry hernandez, 56 of staten island, is missing and presumed dead. Westchester county rob astorino the water temperature was very cold. This part of the year, it was approximately 40 degrees. Reporter astorino said theres no timetable for when the sunken ship will be pulled out of the water. Approval from the coast guard is expected by the end of the week. The vessel is estimated to have had 5,000 gallons of fuel oil on board and Officials Say it may be leaking. An oil sheen can be seen at the scene of the accident down to yonkers. Thousands of feet of boom have spill. Its still unclear how quickly or not quickly the tugboats sank. Theres been conflicting eyewitness reports.
