Reporter the Raleigh Police said they found no evidence there was a shooting at the mall, but still, 12 people were injured due to the chaos and panic. And patel was one of them. And people are running like crazy, and then they knock my husband is knocked down on me and then my husband get up right away, but i cannot get up and people walk on my legs. She was stuck there until she says two nurses grabbed her into a store. But not before her leg was broken. For the last week patel has not been able to move from this bed without help. You can see the bandages an bruises on her leg where her femur was broken. All of a sudden i have to depend on everybody without my shooting, then what is the reason she and others were injured at the mall last week . Well, that was the report and patel has an appointment tomorrow that might let her know when she may walk again. The police say there is no evidence a shooting happened at the mall. And the family of a 20year old man shot and killed outside of a raleigh home said final goodbyes saturday. The police say a homeowner who claimed he was part of a Neighborhood Watch called authorities about, quote, hoodlums outside of out to protect his neighborhood. The man fired a gun from his garage and killed thomas earlier this month. At his funeral yesterday, everyone wore piping, thomas favorite color, while his friends and family tell us they are still in shock over his sudden death, theyre glad to have had 20 years with him. Funerals are now set for the greenville mother and three children who police say were murdered by their mothers boyfriend. The services for howard and her three daughters, bring anna, will be held on saturday, august 27 at the Cedar Hill Baptist church n stone. The grandmother is inviting everyone the attend. The minnesota accused of the murder also held to court on monday. The police say he used some type of claw ham tore kill the victims. He was the father of the two youngest children. The police say 24yearold regina durr was care forking a child at a relatives home and the police caring for a child at a relatives home. She is facing attempted first degree murder and felony child abuse charges. She is in the cumberland jail with a 500, Fayetteville Police need your help after a woman says she was raped saturday morning. The woman said she was walking when a man approached her from behind and assaulted her in the parking lot. It is not known who the man was. She did not see her attacker. Call police with information if you have any. It is a case that has left many people wantoning answers about what took place on a charlotte road. The Officials Say state trooper neighborhood after the 29year old failed to pull over. When the hearing and speech impaired man finally did stop and get out of the car, the police say there was, quote, an encounter a single shot was fired and harris died at the scene. There are questions about whether harris was aware of the sirens or could communicate with the trooper. Harris was gunned down just doors from their familys homes. I saw him out in the neighborhood one time. He seemed they seemed like a very peaceful heartbreaking. I ask everybody to keep them in prayer because it is a rough time for them. The trooper involved in the shooting, jermaine saunders, is on administrative leave, which is standard procedure after an officerinvolved shooting. They held the event to let the police know they are school. They filled more than 600 backpacks with school supplies. Normally the people within the mission have an opportunity to get one of the backpacks, but this is the first year they extended it to families throughout the county. For the child that shows up and doesnt have a backpack or pencil, they already feel like theyre already behind. It can really affect their confidence. By being able to get them everything they need for day one, they can start out by to learn as every other child in the room.
