There has been a lot of talk about the three men in a room culture in albany and two of those leaders, silver and now skelos, both will soon be in prison. Skelos and silver convicted within less than a months time. And as for the third man, governor cuomo, were told the feds have nothing to suggest any wrongdoing by the governor. The federal criminal focus remains on legislative abuses. Federal and state investigators are looking into ongoing possible corruption by several other legislators and there is a separate investigation into some Major Development contracts in the buffalo, new york area. But the silver and skelos cases are the biggest ones that were on the radar and these convictions likely will have a bit of a chilling affect. Right now the temperatures remain mild. Its 60 in the city, outside of the City Temperatures are in the 50s to near 60. The coolest spot we can find right now is monticello and youre at 50. Where is all the cold air . Its back across the west. 40s in the pacific northwest, 30s from the rockies over toward fargo. But thats not dreadfully cold. Thats still well up into canada. Youve heard us talking about el nino. And that is happening over the pacific ocean. That is what usually causes mild weather here whenever it happens every three to four, five years. St eream that is basically keeping the cold air locked in place. We have a big High Pressure system which usually we dont see unt the summertime. At is keeping the temperatures, combination of all those things, 10 to 20 degrees ove average for the next 6 to 14 days. Sources tell me this happened near grand and west burnside. Tonight they tell us it happened as the woman was walking to her home, she was kidnapped from her front doorstep. Police on the hunt for these three women, detectives believe they attacked a 20yearold as she arrived home. It surprises me. Those things dont usually happen in that neighborhood. Reporter the victim was at her Apartment Building door and a group of vehicle six women forced her into a black suv, taking turns pumping her even where brass knuckles.
