The radar not picking up on all of the rain showers and drizzle going on in southern New Hampshire but there are some. Its just small particles the radar cant pick up on. When you get to concord and points north you can make out some rain showers and even a few light snow showers from the lakes region and points to the north. There could be a few slick spots tonight. Primarily on the secondary roadways, bridges, on and off ramps, walkways that arent treated. Be careful of that particularly north of the lakes region from tilton up into plymouth and conway. Youre seeing some of the pink colors on radar or the white indicating some mixed precipitation or snow. The other thing is visibility is a bit tough on the roadways too this evening. We have the low clouds and drizzle. Visibility down to a mile in places like jaffrey, manchester, probably mash continue really the next 24 hours as the rain moves in and will reduce visibility with the thick cloud cover and low cloud cover as well. Look at the temperatures. We have 34 in lebanon. 32 degrees plymouth. 32 degrees laconia. 35 concord and manchester. Dangerously close to the Freezing Point and there could be a little bit of this freezing on the roadways going on after temperatures were bumped up a little bit. Today were sifpblging back down and the refreeze can take place. Here. We have a warm front basically on top of us triggering the showers around us now. But as the overnight hours go on, the warm air surges in and is going to get the temperatures to really climb up into the 40s. Even close to 50 degrees in some communities tomorrow with the heavy rain being in tune. With the heavy rain and snow melt there will likely be the possibility at least of some flooding especially in central into the Mount Washington valley. Be very careful of that. Some of the smaller streams and rivers may start to over swell their banks because of the melt off and also well have very gusty winds. At the sea coast tomorrow evening there could be some splash over as wind gusts get up delose 50 miles per hour. Maybe a few sporadic Power Outages too. By tomorrow morning 7 00, 8 00 a. M. Going to be some spotty showers but once we get to lunch time its heavy rain moving in. There will be downpours and maybe even rumbles of thunder too.
