Josh we start off your saturday day. Its cool out there, but very comfortable. Low humidity and a nice sunrise going on in some locations as well. 53 degrees in manchester and check out the dew point, its 49, meaning it is very dry air out there. There is a look at the temperatures around the entire region and you notice the 30s in the northern part of the statement how about that . Its getting to be that time of year. Some people are going, yes, finally were in the 40s and 50s elsewhere. And the dew points what that means again, it feels dry out there. Enjoy it if you like dry air because it gets humid. Watch the dew points into the 50s and then 60s and through the day tomorrow, as more humidity comes up from the south. Those dew points head well up into the 60s. Very humid tomorrow, muggy and it will still be warm tomorrow though with a lot more clouds around and the chance for muchneeded rainfall. Thinner types of clouds and thats why we have a beautiful sunrise beginning in some locations. High pressure protecting us for now. But here comes that front. Not only does the front move over us tomorrow, but it gets stalled for an additional day, we get two days for the price of one on this one with the front stalled overhead on monday and more scattered showers expected then as well. Today, sun and high clouds. Beautiful day. Temperatures between about 70 and clear, but the clouds will start to stream in. Well cloud up in the overnight hours tomorrow morning. Speaking of tomorrow morning. We could start off the day with a passing downpour or thunderstorm particularly in the northern half of the state. Now, futurecast not quite as optimistic for a lot of showers tomorrow. You see theres some. A lot of our computer models will have more than what we see here. They will be scattered in nature. They wont be all day long, off rain, but dry periods in between. They can continue sunday night and into monday as well. Notice the downpour in northern massachusetts which could easily end up being in southern New Hampshire. A matter of a couple of miles and a forecast thats still 24 hours away or more. And then, sunday night into monday, here is more scattered showers off and on through the day as that front is stalled overhead and then finally begins to pull away monday night and tuesday, we see clearer and er of rain showers at any one location. Tomorrow, its higher and then it falls off, as you can see there, for the rest of the upcoming week. High temperatures today on average in the mid to upper 70s, dry, mostly sunny and quite beautiful. Tomorrow, scattered showers, there could be a downpour or a thunderstorm isolated within and humid and warm muggy feeling and that begins into monday. Similar to each other which is a good thing and dries out after that. Lets keep our fingers crossed that the rain showers hit where you need them. I love this story, mystery solved, sort of. Their mission focuses on do you sort of feel you won the lottery . No question about it. In order to feed children we have to have feet on the ground, volunteer feet on the ground. Amy love that story. Coming up next, if youre looking for a sugar rush, we have just the event for you. Were previewing the frosting frenzy in cooks corner today. The New Hampshire Republican Party has filed a right to know request concern the states 36 Million Contract with dartmouth hitchcock. This comes a week after the Health Care Provider said it would layoff as many as 460 people this year. The executive counsel approved a multiMillion Dollar deal for dartmouth hitchcock to provide staffing at the state chris sununu and colin van oster, both voted in favor of the contract and now sununu wants it canceled saying the council was kept in the dark about job cuts. This was obviously critical information withheld from us, withheld from the council, from the governor and the commissioner. We need to rebid this contract and get answers. They should be held to the letter of the law and the contract theyre legally obligated to do and thats the sure patients get care. Amy g. O. P. Filed the request. It strains credibility to believe that governor hassan was unaware of the hospitals plan. A spokesman for the governor says thats blatant partisan, and coming up, it was a busy night of high school ifble with 20 games across the state. Kelly ayotte and Washington Republicans have put Defunding Planned Parenthood at the top of their agenda. And its time for that to change. Im Maggie Hassan now, meteorologist josh judge with your storm watch 9 forecast. And good morning, we are looking at some rain heading in this direction and were really hoping that this ends up being the case where we all see some rain tomorrow and monday, as we need the rain desperately. But its not in the cards for day. Its a bit of a cool and crisp start out there. Look at the temperatures in northern New Hampshire and thats actually warmer than it was last hour when you were in the mid to upper 30s in the North Country. Right now, 40s and 50s will do it for us and were seeing the dew points that are in the 40s and 50s as well, but theyre going to rise tomorrow. So, if you like the dry weather, enjoy today, and if you like more humid weather and hoping for rain like most people are, thats all for tomorrow and thats when we have decent chances of seeing rain showers around, even the chances of downpours and or some thunder and lightning not out of the question for isolated thunderstorms as well. Here is a look at the dew points rising tonight into tomorrow. After a dry day today. It does get fairly humid and muggy and lasts into monday and tuesday as well. Take a look around. Beautiful blue skies accented by high, thin, cirrus clouds, a locations making for a very nice saturday. There will be a round at times throughout the day as we go through our saturday and get everything done outdoors and tomorrow, you will have dry times. Day if youre headed to a sporting event, maybe the patriots game. Its going to be just fine tomorrow in terms of getting those events in, but there will be, perhaps, some showers or even thunderstorms or a downpour at times. Which could put a temporary delay on some things. High pressure holds us under t but it finally slips out of the way and allows the front to roll into the day tomorrow and it stalls over us right through monday, once it finally pulls away, another very, pardon me, as you can see here, large area of High Pressure builds on in, something in my throat. Im getting a little choked up about the chance for rain, thats kind of exciting. A look at carl, this is Tropical Storm carl churning away, not really over anything right now, but as we get into the later is now a Tropical Storm winds 45 miles per hour, could be a category 1 hurricane with winds 75 miles per hour. Well wait and see because that will be somewhere near the east coast or headed to it and we have to wait and see if that affects us here. Hopefully well just have to wait and see what happens here. Dont want any damage here, we wouldnt mind it if it degraded to a Tropical Storm and brought rain. For today. Lots of sunshine and clear skies as well. We see the clouds thicken up and tomorrow morning at this time there could even thunderstorms around and off again, on again rain showers, hit and miss variety at anytime through the day tomorrow. As you see there, that continues off and on tomorrow night and then even into monday as well where we could see off and on rain showers, wont rain all the time. It could rain at anytime. Some could get completely bypassed and hopefully wont happen many places. Temperatures in the 70s, a huge difference between today and tomorrow and sunny, dry, warm in mid 70s, cloudy and humid with scattered showers around and they continue into monday and we dry out for the rest of the week.
