Sean a claremont woman is accused of trying to hire someone to kill another person, but investigators say the person she tried to hire was an 20yearold Monique Earle is charged with conspiracy to commit murder. Wmurs ray brewer is live this morning at the Attorney Generals Office in concord to explain the situation. Ray good morning. The Attorney Generals Drug Task force teamed up with local with Claremont Police after learning of the alleged plot on tuesday evening. According to prosecutors, 20yearold Monique Earle was staying at a Domestic Violence wanted someone she knew dead. The conversation was reported to a shelter manager, and police were contacted, who then set up a meeting between earle and an undercover officer. At the meeting, earle confirmed that she wanted the undercover officer to kidnap, drug, rape, and kill a woman she knew. According to court paperwork, earle showed the undercover officer where the woman lives and works, and offered to pay him 500 to carry out the crime. Motivation was that she had taken her boyfriend away from her. She indicated that she was pregnant, and that she had a child as well. Ray earle was arrested wednesday, the day after investigators learned of the plot. She is charged with conspiracy to commit murder and criminal solicitation to commit murder. A nashua mother convicted of killing her own daughter is scheduled to be sentenced this morning. Katlyn marin was convicted of seconddegree murder back in august, in the 2014 beating death of threeyearold brielle gage. She faces a minimum of 35 years in prison, but prosecutors have previously said that they plan to ask for a much longer sentence than that. Marin opted for a bench trial instead of having a jury, and did not take the stand in her own defense. A former student at sexually assaulting another student inside a girls dorm at the boarding school. The alleged incident happened in october of last year. 19yearold Derek Tillotson of bow is charged with three counts of felonious Sexual Assault involving a 16yearold girl. The school says it learned of the incident that day, reported it immediately to authorities, and the male student left school the same day. Another round of negotiations is set for today, hoping to avoid a drivers. Union drivers at first students belmont location First Authorized a strike nearly three weeks ago, but talks have continued as the sides try to work out a deal. If drivers do strike, it could affect thousands of students, prompting schools to make backup plans. But the union has agreed to give at least 48 hours notice to timberland and hampstead schools before any strike happens. Ray good morning, sean. The Attorney Generals Drug Task forces and Claremont Police joining forces for this investigation. They say the suspect, Monique Earle, tried to hire someone to a kill a woman she says ruined her life. 20yearold Monique Earle faced a judge in claremont on thursday. She is accused of telling another woman, while living at a Domestic Abuse shelter, that she shelter manager and police. Law enforcement contacted the reporting party. The reporting party reiterated those concerns. And the reporting party agreed to cooperate with Law Enforcement in this investigation. Ray Claremont Police and the Attorney Generals Drug Task force say they set up a meeting between earle and an undercover officer, where earle confirmed that she wanted that person to kidnap, drug, rape, and kill a woman she knew. She expressed that her motivation was that the woman had taken her boyfriend away from her. She indicated that she was pregnant, and that she had a child as well. Sean well a man wanted for , attempted murder in pennsylvania has been captured in keene. 30yearold Jeremiah Holmes was arrested wednesday night on winchester court. Police say he tried to escape out a second floor window, but he is now charged as a fugitive from justice. Holmes also had an active parole warrant here in New Hampshire for criminal threatening. Well a mother charged in , connection with the overdose death of her teenage daughter is expected to be sentenced today. Jazzmyn rood pleaded guilty to covering up the fact that two people, including her former boyfriend, provided the fentanyl that killed 17yearold eve tarmey last year. Police say rood also thwarted from a dealer in lawrence, massachusetts. Now under a plea deal, the , government is recommending no more than 32 months behind bars. Roods former boyfriend, mark ross, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for his role in tarmeys death. We now know the name of the elderly woman killed in a freak accident in durham on wednesday. Police say 86yearold janet dunham of madbury was killed when her own car ran her over. They say she was either getting in or out of the car when it down the driveway before running her over. Dunham was visiting friends in a knitting club at the time of the accident. More than a dozen people have filed a lawsuit over a multimillion dollar plan to make changes to a wastewater plant on peirce island in portsmouth. The complaint says the federal government should step in and force the relocation of the plant to Pease International tradeport. Theyre arguing that the facility is outdated and too and would pose more environmental concerns. But the citys attorney disagrees. There is no room for improvement, for expansion, improving the plan, or doing any of that. To simply say lets shut it down and put it someplace else is not realistic. Its not helpful, and its really not practical. Sean the plant has until december of 2019 to become compliant with environmental law. The attorney for portsmouth says work and construction will be ongoing during this legal process. Nashuas new safe Stations Program has already helped more than a dozen people struggling with addiction. Since the program started two weeks ago, 17 people have gone in for help. The safe stations concept started in manchester. People can go to Fire Departments to get an evaluation from amr, and then be transported to a recovery program. I was actually surprised at how fast it started. You know weve seen all the its a little bit bigger city than ours. Its pretty stunning the , numbers. And when they started knocking on our doors, it was surprising to see how quick its catching on. Sean Officials Say other Fire Departments across the country, including new york citys, are now looking into launching a safe Stations Program. The Manchester Fire Department is showing off its new rig. An announcement was posted on the departments facebook page, saying, quote, its a girl 76,100 pounds, 468 long. We start early this morning with fair skies crossing a good part of the state. Some extra clouds the further north and west you go. With that, the breeze for everyone through the day today. A risk of showers up north through the afternoon, switching over to a little bit of light snow. I think the chance is there with and southern areas. A reinforcing shot of cooler, drier air later this evening. All around us, the upperlevel system continues to move to the east. As long as that is to our west, we continue with unsettled weather in far northwestern sections of the state. Showers and just about any point. Mixed activity along the White Mountains depending on your elevation. Far northern areas, that is likely in the form of wet snow. A couple of theer you will notice wind up atop Mount Washington near 60 mph. That means a pretty brisk stay for the rest of us, with highs in the 40s. Not quite feeling like it through the afternoon. 40s for most out there today. But the step backward is going to continue. A blend of sunshine and clouds. There will be a chance of wet snow up north, and a few inches of accumulation. You saw on futurecast the chance of a passing flurry or snow areas. Lows in the 30s tonight. Highs in the 30s to lower 40s. The wind noticeable through the afternoon. That will lightened considerably for the day on sunday, but will come with mostly sunny skies and temperatures continuing to cool off. It looks like 30s for most monday and tuesday. All that lies beyond that pattern is this system in the desert southwest. It has 2500 miles to go. I next wednesday, we may have to contend with some until then, we continue to cool off the next few days. Partial sunshine expected. Brisk conditions for the day tomorrow. A lighter wind up on sunday. Could be a snow shower or flurry monday. That does not look like a big deal. Tuesday, we go back to sunshine. The next system starts to approach with an increase in clouds wednesday.
