Now, they disagree with the prosecution who said that labrie never showed remorse, they say in fact he is remorseful but wont contradict his testimony and is standing by truth, they say the incident was consensual, something the judge didnt even agree with and said so. The prosecution was also satisfied with the sentence and commended the victim for Going Forward with this saying that this is a very difficult process. She was not in the courtroom today, instead home with her family, as is owen labrie tonight where the defense said hes receiving a lot of support from family and friend. The prosecution says it is the law to be released pending the appeals process, its not something theyre happy with. I have concerns about him being released without supervision, i will say that fairly, but again i had a duty to the court and i had to point that out. He has a curfew. He is free to move about. I think hes going to deal with it the say he has been, turn to his family, loved ones, hes a strong young man trying to make the best out of a difficult situation. Mike how long has it taken you to set up this display . This takes me a couple months to set up. I would like to have about three months ideally. Twisty no, no, no mike weve got a clown that seems a little bit out of sorts here. Could someone feed him, please . Mike but it takes you a long time to get this all going. Absolutely. If i had six months it could be perfect, but well deal with the time we have and hopefully everyone enjoys it and appreciates it. Mike and it is free to the public, because even though youre not commercial yet, people can stop by and take part in this. Yes, absolutely. It is free. When it comes to some point when we actually have to charge, then it will become work and im not sure, well see how it goes. Mike all right, thank you very much, i wish you a very happy but haunted and scary halloween. Thank you, wmur, for our continued support, and go patriots. Mike you got it, you heard that. What about this weather, talk about changes, weve gone from warm and wet to windy and do we ever get walk to cool again . Haley . Hayley we do, in fact, and right in time for halloween. So it will feel a little bit more like halloween instead of like august it did today with temperatures in the lower 70s so heres the spooky weekend forecast. Tomorrow some festivities, the kids dressing up for school, sunny but cooler, highs in tupper 40s in the northern part of the state, 50s in the southern part of the state. For halloween itself mostly sunny skies, well have increasing clouds late in the day, but no problems for trick or treat time. Well fall through the 40s for the trick or treaters for temperatures, so maybe a layer or two underneath the costume but not overly cold. Then on sunday, which is november 1st of course, well have scattered showers moving through and temperatures in the 50s. A remarkable turn were about to make here. Look at the highs we got to today, 76 degrees on october 29th in dover, thats what you reached there. Auburn 75. We reached 75 as well in exeter. Amherst 74. Brentwood 74 too. The colder air starting to seep down from canada, so those of of you up north already feeling the effects. Youve fallen into the 50s. 60s across the rest of the Southern Tier of the state, about 65 degrees in manchester. The winds, they have been howling over the past couple hours, even causing some damage, some tree limbs down and power lines down, especially reported in pelham and out in Cheshire County too. The wind are still gusty, especially in the upper valley and into plymouth, 22 miles per hour. The wind gusts at plymouth and laconia as of yet, thats the colder air starting to come down behind this system. The rain is pretty much done with, there are just a couple of spotty showers and there may be a few scattered showers through the evening here, but those are going to start to clear away along with the clouds too. Then the cold will set in, as this low pressure system lifts up toward the north and east and drags down that colder air behind it. So overnight tonight, a few lingering cloud and showers especially up north and there may be Higher Elevation snow showers early tomorrow morning, but the rest of us, bright and sunny for our friday, and highs only in the 40s and 50s tomorrow. Tomorrow night will be a chilly one if youre going out to the friday night football games. It going to be cold with the temperatures falling into the 30s in a lot of spots, but saturday for halloween, it looks nice, bright and sunny and a couple degrees warmer. Tonight showers and clear skies and cool. Temperatures up north 40s. Central and southern New Hampshire in the 50s. The wind will still be moving around a little bit. As we talked about the patriots a couple second ago, go pats, 55 degrees, a mild october game for them taking on the Miami Dolphins. Breezy and mild the forecast and dry there. 40s up north tomorrow, 50s in the southern part of the state. And as for halloween, spooktacular, then on sunday a few scattered showers and remember to put your clocks back and maybe check your smoke detectors. Tom good idea. He was a young guy and i think there were some folks in the legislature that thought they might be able to run over him. That didnt happen. One tax cut wasnt enough he had to do more. It wasnt enough to have 15,000 kids with School Choice in florida, he wanted to have 100,000 kids. If he didnt like a project, it was going to be vetoed. It didnt matter if you were a republican. It didnt matter if you were his best friend. He said this is where were going, this is how were going to reform state government. every politician comes in talking about making change, not much change. But governor bush made a lot of changes. He got the nickname if he saw something in the budget that he thought violated his conservative principles, you could guarantee it was he vetoed a bunch of my stuff and i was the senate president. The message to washington, d. C. , is get ready. because there will be change. Nright to rise usa is responsible jamie game night for the new england patriots, they host the Miami Dolphins at 8 25 tonight. Tom brady 80 all tile on thursday games. Patriots favored by 8. 5 points. Moving the ball, a lot of activity, as far as everybody, everybody wants to make big plays. A political ybility team, weve had had some success against them. And its all about jamie this weeks hole town hero is a state record holder. Reporter steven heldberg is the quarterback for the st. Thomas football team, a team that with a win on friday night will finish as the only Undefeated Team in division two. Last year he broke the record touchdown passes in a single season. We all have our eyes on the goal this year, which is winning the championship. Last year was more of just maying the game and all about winning games, but this year we really have our eye on the prize. 1300 yards and 22 touchdowns, two ahead of this time last year. But breaking his own report is not a priority. Its not what i think about. Obviously i want to throw touchdowns, but i dont think like that. Reporter the saints have scored less than 40 points only once this season, something he credits to his many offensive weapons. Trevor martin, tom bouchard, i dont think i can get any luckier than with those four games and theyve been awesome, i know i can trust them any time and they can make plays if i get it to them.
