Reporter all right, good luck. So the brampton beasts are in town. Highlights tonight. Mike well start you off out at the coast where you can see some of the fine fall color there in market square, time lapse from sunup to sundown. And showing that we did have bright skies a good part of the day after a couple of showers that moved through during the morning. In terms of fall color, peak conditions right now the many parts of New Hampshire. Kind of odd to have it happening and popping all over the state at the same time. But i think thats what happens when you have a very warm abnormally warm september and you get cool all of a sudden. Right now were at peak. A few spots in the great north woods slightly past peak. And very close to it the next few days well see peak conditions from manchester and over towards the coast. But a lot of fine color out there, even where its not peak just yet. Whats also peaking, coldest air our direction. As it moves in from the north and west there are some rain but notice on radar after a dry evening and first half of the overnight, scattered rain showers approach, at the same time cold air punches in from the north and west. And that will change any rain snow. Right now 40s north, generally in the 50s elsewhere, some upper 40s in a good part of the monadnock region. Heading to a friday night football game, 15 on the schedule, on average in southern New Hampshire in the next couple hours lower 50s, and upper 40s near half time and on your way home low to mid 40s. So bundle up, but a pleasant evening, certainly classic fall weather statewide. Overnight a winter chill, mid 30s north. But nothing compared to the cold air thats building in for the weekend. Temperatures tomorrow, several degrees lower than today. And yes, scattered rain mixed in snow showers will hit the great north woods, a slight chance of a few sprinkles elsewhere in New Hampshire. But a good part of your saturday will be rainfree. Again a different story with mixed showers all day long up north. As we advance into the evening, winds will begin to diminish, skies will clear and temperatures will fall, sub freezing in just about all spots, that means an end to the growing season in many areas north and west of the coast, and even at the coast later sunday night as it turns much colder. In terms of light snow accumulation there you have it, a coating or inch or two in the great north woods and heart of the white mountains. Clearly the higher amounts will be in the higher terrain. The president ials could see three or four inches of snow by early saturday evening. The highs tomorrow, low 40s north, lower 50s south. But even colder on sunday, mid 30s will do it up north to mid 40s in southern New Hampshire. And later on sunday night, temperatures crash boo the teens and 20s statewide. So if youve been one of these hardy new englanders that keep away from using the heat, and theyll do it again tonight. Tomorrow night may be a struggle. I think everyone will finally give in later sunday night into early monday. Look at theover night low the southern New Hampshire. Then after a cool monday, temperatures bounce right back to average. A good part of next week. Tom cold is all relative, right . Jennifer bundle up for football tonight.
