If im fortunate enough to be elected to congress again, i plan to go down and do exactly what i did in washington before this is the message that my parents taught me siblings and me. We know that its not the label that you wear because they were conservative republicans. They told us its what you actually do for other people that matters. Republicans and democrats in this district want somebody who knows their story, who understands with their challenges are, and will fight to serve their families and help them. I was proud of the work i did down in washington to bring more jobs back to New Hampshire. But theres so much more t b jobs. We need to protect Social Security and medicare. We need to be there for the families and help them pay for their child care and help them pay to educate their children. We know that clean costs are too expensive, we also know we have an Opioid Crisis we need to address. Ive been endorsed by barak and michelle obama, bernie sanders, the Womens Chamber of commerce, republican businesses and others. Id be very honored to have your endorsement and your vote continue. All families have challenges, and my mom instilled in us very early on the importance of finding solutions to those challenges. To get things done. A huge turnout is expected for tomorrows election, and state and local officials have been working to make sure everything is orderly and safe. Well have larger than normal crowds, so that will add to some confusion, a little chaos maybe, but theres no specific threats in New Hampshire, but obviously this is an important time for our country. So we have to be aware of any threats that reporter New Hampshire Homeland Security director perry plumber says the Emergency Operations center in concord will be operating from the time the polls open until they close tomorrow. They expect that everything will run smoothly, and have been working with the secretary of States Office to avoid any cyber or internet related issues. Ladies and gentlemen, i focused this prior term on getting work done, six piecings of legislation signed into law by this president , working bipartisanly as the chairman of the Congressional Task force to combat heroin and opioid use, delivering 192 million a year for each of the next five years to try to deal with the crisis in the state of New Hampshire. I will always listen to you, focus on the issues that matter, not just working class families, greater opportunity for their kids and their grand kids. Focusing on seniors and making sure that weve got the adjustment that i focused on over the last year when others would not. Ive continued to work on your behalf in a bipartisan fashion and should i be your representative again, i will do the same for you and i hope to earn your support tomorrow, november 8th. Jennifer thank you, frank guinta. Tonight the nation serve as u. S. Attorney general. Janet reno passed away this morning after a 20year battle with parkinsons disease. Josh the candidates in new next is the race for u. S. Senate and joining us is incumbent republican senator kelly ayotte. Thank you for listening at hole tonight. This election is not about misleading negative attacks on your television. This race is about you and your family and who will be that independent voice to stand up for New Hampshire with a positive vision for our state and country. I have one of the most bipartisan records in the senate because i know the only way like the effort i led to pass a bipartisan law to address our heroin epidemic, or solutions ive worked onto make it easier for our Small Businesses to strengthen medicare, to Lower Health Care and College Costs, no audio to get things done is going to take someone who will stand up to both parties when theyre taking us in the wrong common ground, solve problems and deliver results for our state. Thats what ive done in the senate. Thats why im running again. I ask for your vote on november 8 so that we can continue the work that we have started together for our great state. Hes on our side. Im frank guinta pitches to voters with the race for u. S. Senate. Here is the democratic candidate, governor Maggie Hassan. Hi, im governor Maggie Hassan. Here in New Hampshire weve shown that its possible to Work Across Party Lines and get things done. We enacted two fiscally responsible bipartisan budgets, without a sales or income tax. Were taking a handson approach to our heroin and Opioid Crisis. Its long pastime for washington to take the same approach. But unfortunately washington has been capture by corporate special interests like the Koch Brothers who stack the deck for themselve at the expense of the middle class. The choice in this election is clear. Do we keep going with the senator who votes repeatedly with corporate special interests . Or do we elect a new store who sides with the people of New Hampshire . Thank you, and i respectfully jamie the Boston Bruins skate on home ice tonight, hosting the buffalo sabres. Bs have just one win at home in four tries. It was a loss for the celtics last night on their home floor, they hosted the Denver Nuggets at the garden. It was a rough first half for boston, their defense lackluster, the nuggets scored 77 points in the first half, they gave up 68 points to cleveland in the first half thursday. So their defense needs to get rolling. Boston, but denver won 123107. Boston 33 on the season. Celtics at washington on wednesday. Josh our final pitch continues now with the governors race. Democratic candidate for governor, Colin Van Ostern. Hi, im Colin Van Ostern and i ask for your vote for governor on tuesday so we can Work Together to take our next step for as a state. If i give me tha right for the people of New Hampshire and not let politics get in the way. Ill take my background in business and ill find ways to cut inefficient state spending, cut red tape, no sales tax and no income tax. And ill make sure we make the right investments to strengthen our economy and bring and keep young people and young families, new businesses and startups here, like lowering College Costs and investing in solar and renewable energy. Ill protect access to health care and not let politics get in Treatment Service through the bipartisan expansion to medicaid or supporting funding for Birth Control and cancer screenings and annual exams and our state planned Parenthood Health centers 100 of the time. As your governor ill always stand up for you. Mike started off quite chilly, sunshine went to work and boosed the temperatures back close to average. Clear cdi warner a good part of the day. Clear skies tonight, light winds, very dry air in place and that means temperatures tumble a little below average as we go through the overnight stretch. But a bright and warmer election day tomorrow, as temperatures hit about 10 degrees above the average, next chance of a few showers will creep in here wednesday and then very late friday or friday evening, and thats along a very strong cold front on friday, and that means much colder air for friday night as for temperatures right now, they are starting to drop of course, the sundown at 4 30 this afternoon and temperatures already responding to the lack of sun. Were back into the 30s to very low 40s in many spots, from the Merrimack Valley and coast back into the monadnock region, many spots below 40. Same story around the lake sunapee zone. Upper 30s to lower to mid 40s. If youre along the lake shore you are quite mild, due to the fact that the water temperatures are chilly but not nearly as cold as they will get in the part of the great north woods and northern parts of the white mountains, although Franconia Notch at 44. Overnight tonight we do drop below freezing everywhere except right at the coast, may hang right around 31 or 32 by 6 00 in the morning. Then were looking at a nice recovery in temperatures quickly in the afternoon. Why will that happen . A storm well off shore not working back in towards New Hampshire. High pressure nosing in means clear sailing for tonight and marches on in for midweek. In terms of shower chances, give it about 80 shot. But that will just be in the form of a scattering of showers for wednesday and early wednesday evening. And then once all of this moves on through, notice the dry real estate back to the west, that takes over for the rest of this week, thursday and on into friday. Right now its clear, it will stay that way through a good part of the night, be frost everywhere tomorrow morning as we drop at or below freezing. Sunny skies for election day low 60s. On wednesday, thats when the front moves on in with scattered showers. Notice future cast, not painting a big wet scenario here in New Hampshire, just a scattering of showers, and just cold enough by late day for a few flakes to mix in across the white mountains. Highs tomorrow, up into the upper 50s to lower 60s. Average high this time of year is 52 degrees. Well be much closer to the average as we go through the rest of this week. Showers back to around 50 in many spots. By thursday more sun.
