The defense said the story was too consistent to believe. Mccray was a late addition in the states case, contacting police from jail four months after it had already indicted johnson. There were two small children inside the home, probably three and under and one was her natural child. One was a relative. The two children were unharmed. Neither was related to the suspect. The suspect is former aquaint tans of the victim. The victim is married. However, the suspect is not her husband. He was out of state at the time the homicide occurred. We do not believe theres a current romantic relationship between the suspect and the victim. Reporter at this point police havent charged the suspect and are trying to find out a motive.
