Argument escalated and led to the student being locked up here at the detention center. Word quickly spread on facebook and twitter. An Amelia Middle School sixth grader arrested. Police say he threatened a classmate with a gun. I was just scared. I was panicking. Jenell a parent s Facebook Post led to a quick investigation and arrest by Union Township police. A mom posted on facebook that her daughter told her a friend sent her a picture of his friend holding a handgun. He said he was going to come to school today and hurt somebody at school. Jenell detectives say several students were Group Messaging last night when a disagreement escalated. Which resulted in our juvenile suspect painting an airsoft gun to make it look realistic. Placed a photo of himself on that facebook site showing himself holding the gun. Jenell police, with help from the School Resource officer, tracked down the suspect. They took him into custody at midnight. Parents were relieved the suspect was arrested before school started. My son is in middle school as well. It s scary. I don t want those things to happen at school, and if we can stop them before they happen, then that s all the better. Jenell police are continuing to investigate and interview students. Mike a woman found dead after a house fire in aurora, indiana. Her son and his wife were able to escape, but were injured. Wlwt news 5 leading the way on this story he is live from the home on market street. Brian. Brian the only thing as intense as the fire was the investigation here. There was the concern about it collapsing as emergency crews tried to recover the body. Only on 5, the man who escaped the fire tells what happened from his perspective. The fire captured on cell phone video, engulfed the home, leaving behind destruction and questions even for the person who was closest to it. Looked to me like the couch was on fire. I don t know what s going on, but it was too late by the time i woke up and seen what was going on. It was over. Brian Tim Stephenson says he was inside when the fire broke out. He says his wife rebecca got out a side door, but his mother who could barely walk was not able to escape. I saw the windows popping. I knew mom was gone at that point. Brian crews eventually got the then investigators began to work the scene and there are lots of investigators, at least five agencies. Not unusual to see the fire marshal and coroner, but also on scene was the Dearborn County prosecutor, aaron negangard, and detectives from his office along with those from aurora police. I ve been on 11 years and this is one of the worst fire scenes i ve been on as far as recovery and danger inside the actual building itself. Brian chief deputy coroner Cameron Mccreary and coroner Steven Callahan say just removing the body created a serious danger because the burnt home was so unstable. There s always eyes. If something would move, hey, get out, clear out. We had people always watching, but still a little scary in there. Brian fire investigators have not officially identified the body and say they ll need dna to do it. But, Tim Stephenson is certain what he s lost is more than his mother s home. I don t know if it was smoke inhalation, at least that i hope got her. Brian there s a good chance they will have to take down part of the building to continue the investigation. Sheree this just in, an emergency custody ruling for the father of a missing 22monthold from Warren County. Late this afternoon, a judge granted the father custody which could open the door for authorities to issue an amber alert. 20yearold Kallie Carnes and her little boy grant were last seen wednesday in south lebanon. Kallie left her family a note indicating she wanted time to herself. Her family says they re worried because they believe she is with 20yearold joshua craft. Craft was convicted of assaulting carnes child last month and ordered to stay away s father says he doesn t believe anyone is in danger. I don t believe they re in danger at all, ma am. My son s not like that. I think it s been blown out of proportion slightly. And from my understanding, the police, there s nothing they can do and i just wish they could find them and get the kid back out of a dangerous situation, according to them, but i don t feel he s in any danger. Newark is about 30 miles northeast of columbus. A woman living at the home says the man fired shots at a bed and a wall. She ran out and called police. The man has been charged with weapon while intoxicated. A wild scene out of pittsburgh tonight. A car crashed on the roof of a Grocery Store and started leaking gasoline. The car didn t fly like an eagle when it landed on the giant eagle Grocery Store. There is actually a road that runs almost parallel to the roof. The car crashed through a barrier and came to a stop on top of the place. The store was evacuated. No one in the car or inside the store was hurt. Right now, all i am looking at are the challenges. I need to look at the good side. Jennifer after 18 years of severe medical challenges, good health allowed him to blossom as a young man. He received awards and joined community events, meeting and engaging people. In may, Hamilton County celebrated Logan Brinson day. He also traveled trips mainly focused around his hero, elvis presley. He s built kind of a network of support for himself that is positive and reinforcing and last year was the best year of hands down. And i feel like we have more of that. Jennifer last month, illnesses began to take a toll. Last week, logan went into cardiac arrest. He s now on life support, holding his own, but critical. This is a slow process and it s going to be a long time for him. Jennifer it s a stark change from the charismatic elvis performer who has delighted thousands. Now, logan and his mom are they group, the amazing world of logan. The Facebook Page has been this amazing way of making us realize that the world is watching and praying and believing. And sometimes when you can t find that from within yourself, you re able to draw on that from other people. Richard, how did this happen . Richard youth advocates say it is a horrific case. The teenager beaten by the 34yearold man with an ages with an inches within inches of her life. 34yearold William Arnold remains in the Hamilton County justice center. He is charged with felony assault in the beating of a 16yearold girl. It happened february 29 outside the inner circle nightclub on kellogg avenue. According to police, arnold and another person drove the unconscious teen to the hospital. She had bleeding and swelling of her brain. Other injuries included collapsed and lacerated lungs, internal bleeding, a lacerated liver and cuts and bruises all over her body. Police and youth advocates say it takes a partnership between officers and Service Workers to end this type of crime. People are victims and they are prey for victimization or people who want to do nefarious things are looking for those most vulnerable because it s an easy target.
