Three teens from East Cleveland found themselves in the wrong place on the wrong side of the law when they were convicted in the shooting death in 196. It was a crime they did not commit. It cost them 20 years in prison. Today a judge finally dismissed the case. There had been misconduct. A prosecutor had written a letter to police urging them to conceal weapons, key witnesses changed her testimony. You would think all that plus all that time would have hardened these men. It only seemed to make them stronger. So much was tooken from us. We was kids. To have to go this far. Everything happened for a reason. It made me a better person. Inspiration who said he was inspired by nelson he gave me a lot of strength. Something they need as they return to life where nothing will be easy, especially finding a job. Were keeping an eye further thunderstorms moving northward. Theyre not terribly strong. Not holding intensity. Theyre holding as far as the rain goes. Maybe scattered showers and rumbles of thunder tonight. Nasty moisture is off to the west of us. Incredibly enough, as this moisture plume extends down to the deep south, what ends up happening is moisture definitely comes north ward. Its funneled northward. The Mississippi River valley are using up that moisture. Were on the northern periphery of all that. The moisture is here and doesnt mean its going to skip everybody else and land here. Obviously the greatest atmospheric moisture is down along the coast at the gulf coast area where all the moisture is coming from. All of that moves northward as well. You can get an idea of this funneling effect. This is atmospheric moisture. Its showing how much moisture is in the middle layers of the atmosphere. Its been humid here. Thats the moisture in the lower levels of the atmosphere. Its the same story, funneling effect. We continue to have this pipeline of moisture moving northward. As i mentioned, a lot of thunderstorms west of us have been using up a lot of atmospheric moisture. We have ended up getting scattered rain and thunder pick out where the heaviest rain has been. Down to louisiana, 20 to 30 plus inches of rain and all areas you see in yellow. Also very heavy rain in illinois and indiana. Thats the storms that have been using up a lot of moisture that we were anticipating having thunderstorms here. We have ended up with anywhere from trace amounts, couple tenths, upwards over three inches in some locations in the last four days. We have not ended up having a lot of flash flooding thankfully. Well keep an eye out. We have thunderstorm chances through the night tonight. This is left overs from storms down 5 long the ohio river moving northward. Isolated rain chances through the night. Thats going to be request us. In the morning, a cloudy start to the day. Some peaks are around. Weve got sunshine, heat and humidity.
