However, they told me theyre not actively looking for any investigators are placing evidence markers right now. Witnesses tell me the shooting happened at the tax office there and a woman who works inside says it was actually her boss who was shot. Lets show you some video we shot right when we got on scene here, just before 2 00 this afternoon. Were airlifted to the hospital. Were still working on getting the condition on those two people and where they were shot. We are told they were taken as trauma alerts. There are two crime scenes here. The one the tax office and the other a few hundred yards away where investigators are checking out a blue car. A woman we spoke to who works at the tax office says she thinks someone didnt get a check they were expecting and as a result shot her boss. I guess somebody check aint come through and they didnt get it. At the same time they retaliated and came in and i believe some people tried to call in all day, looking for they check and they didnt get what they wanted and they come here. Its important to know that deputies tell me theyre not actively for any suspects in this. Im working on getting more information from them and ill have another update coming up at 5 00. Also breaking right now, we just learned the man involved in an arson that killed a boy and left another with severe brain damage will not be charged. The States Attorneys Office decided not to charge luis cruz with firstdegree murder, attempted firstdegree murder or aggravated child abuse. Back in june, witnesses say cruz, the stepfather of the boy who died, told neighbors the home was empty when it was on fire and asked them not to call 911. Were told gasoline was found near where the fire started in the master bedroom. We will let you know when the state Attorneys Office tells us more about why hes not being charged. Also developing right now, Orlando Police say they need your help tracking down these two women you see right here. Theyre accused of trying to stab a Security Guard after they were caught shoplifting at a local walmart store. Investigators say it happened on sunday at the walmart located on south kirkman road at the corner of metro west boulevard. Got ahold of that video today. You also spoke with police. Do they have any leads on this case right now . Witnesses say they saw the two women go across the street into an apartment. Later the investigators figured out they went across the street but evidently went around the complex. Right now, theyre on the loose. For that reason, police need you to take a close look at this zero this video to help nab police. What makes this video more frightening is it happened in front of family and children. Watch the two women who investigators say were trying to shoplift on sunday night. As they go to leave the store, security stops them and the women put up a fight. One of them pulls out a folding knife and jabs at one of the Security Officers. They were committing a crime, taking merchandise, but they took it to another level when after Security Officers with a knife. Walmart employees watched them walk around the store sunday night, shoving merchandise into their purses. They say there was plenty of evidence to prove they were shoplifting. Now theyre wanted for a much more violent crime. Do you consider these women dangerous . I do. If youre going to use a weapon and try to harm someone and not just try to scare the Security Officers, but they were actually trying to chase after them. Now the good news is the Security Officers were not hurt here and i just checked. Still no leads for Orlando Police at this point. The test pilot told us he was instructed to land the plane that way and so as the sea plane went in the water, it could have been a different story. You can see the plane coming in for a landing and bouncing on its belly, wobbling to the right and sliding to a stop. Fire rescue rushed to the scene as the pilot got out of the plane unscathed. He says they flew the plane yesterday and everything was fine, but today was a different story. There was a switch in the gear well and the landing gear he texted a friend in california to ask him with the help with landing this type of plane. He was told to land it in the grass as a precaution. You can see the plane ended up sliding off the grass on to the runway. Despite this being a sea plane, the pilot was told specifically not to land in the water. For a good reason. It would take water and blow the water right into the cockpit and it could flood the plane and i could have died. They had enough time to circle around until the emergency crews arrived on the scene. In orange county, some parents are concerned about a lack of communication when it comes to the safety of their kids at maitland middle school. News 6 reporter troy bridges spoke to parents this afternoon and learned theyre taking action to make sure they stay informed. After parents voiced their concerns about their childrens school, Maitland Police say they remain extra vigilant in and around campus just to make sure parents are at ease. Three Maitland Police vehicles parked outside the office on wednesday. A voice mail was sent to parents over the weekend. The schools principal says she was made aware of the threat and called police right away. Dozens of parents keeping their kids home fearing the worst. He says the message was enough to keep his 13yearold son home from school, monday and tuesday. Attending the meeting but walking out after he says the school wasnt addressing the issue. A clear threat and theyre acting like it really wasnt a threat. Ive requested a meeting with the school and if i need to, ill request a meeting with the school board. The School District says nine students are being held responsible for both the physical altercation at the School Friday and a threat on social media that followed. However, because of student protection laws, the district cant say each students specific involvement. Ongoing issues of physical fights on campus. Its not the first incident. I hear about fights at this school all the time. Luckily my son is able to protect himself and hes been told to protect himself and he will protect himself. Maitland police also say at this point the School District has not handed over any evidence criminal. 6. Alert from governor rick scott surrounding the zika virus. Within the last two hours, governor rick scott declared a Health Emergency because of the mosquitoborne illness. Were also hearing of more cases. That number has spiked from 6 to now 9 cases of zika detected in florida. Health officials believe all of them are from people who contracted the disease while traveling out of the country. Regardless, the governor signed the zika emergency order today to cover miamidade, lee, hillsborough and santa rosa counties. Four counties total. The zika virus is linked to causing huge concern among Global Health officials. The virus is spread through mosquito bites but investigators are now exploring the transmitted. U. S.
