Nikita levy, who was allegedly recording his patients during examinations. And we also know this is not the only lawsuit expected to come. Reporter hundreds if not thousands of women are still waiting to see if they were secretly videotaped by dr. Niceelta lev nikita levy, as they were examined by the Johns Hopkins gynecologist. Like how would i even know . Its just totally shocking. Reporter its a case that rocked maryland. Attention, patients of dr. Nikita levy at Johns Hopkins. Reporter now, attorneys are jumping. Theres been a lack of communication from Johns Hopkins. Reporter because of the enormity of the case, the firm has rented a Conference Room in downtown baltimore, to let victims know what rights they have under such circumstances. You have the right not to have been videotaped or photographed without your consent. And there is no justification for an exception to that. Two, now that its happened, you have a right to have open lines of communication, with the hospital. Reporter Johns Hopkins hospital has remained tight lipped about the investigation, only releasing this statement, saying, quote, an invasion of privacy is intolerable. Dr. Levys behavior violates the code of conduct policies and is against everything for which Johns Hopkins medicine stands. Its disgusting. You gotta trust these people. And you cant trust them. Reporter dr. Nikita levy was found dead after committing suicide. Officials with Johns Hopkins revealed the Ongoing Investigation against them, two weeks after they learned what he was allegedly doing during his examinations. Reporter a spokesperson said dr. Levy was dismissed from the staff earlier this month. He reportedly sent a letter to his patients, saying he was no longer with the hospital. But he never said why. Reporter tomorrows conference is the first time possible victims of dr. Levy will be in one room with one fear. I may have been violated. Reporter and again, we are learning that a classaction lawsuit has been filed against Johns Hopkins hospital, following these allegations against dr. Levy. Two bodies are found inside a car. And a car fire in the mondawmin neighborhood. That discovery was made early this morning in the 2100 block of north monroe street by baltimore firefighters. The victims names have not been released. The cause of the fire and deaths is under investigation. Incredible recovery. A Police Recruit shot in the head during a Training Exercise is released from shock trauma. Wjz is live there now. Meghan mccorkell has the details on what is next for the victim. Meghan . Reporter sources tell wjz that source worker, not identified, has now been transferred to a rehab facility. His recovery is being called remarkable. Reporter 10 days ago, a university of Maryland Police trainee was rushed to a state police helicopter, suffering a gunshot wound to the head. He immediately went into surgery at shock trauma. He is stable. But any thoughts or predictions about longterm neurologic outcome at this point are way, way, way too early. Reporter the recruit was shot by his training officer, William Scott kern, whois mistook his Service Weapon for a training weapon, during an exercise inside the training center. Now, sources tell wjz, that trainee is talking a little bit and is even able to recognize people. Police commissioner Anthony Batts has visited his bedside. Doctors have told me he is progressing better than they expected. However, they say this is going to be a long road. And when you have the kind of injuries that he has sustained, you can never be too sure were out of the woods at this point in time. Reporter six officers in the command have been suspended. A wjz investigation has revealed a lack of staffing and supervision. And that leadership didnt even know the old hospital site was being used for training. The Maryland State Police is now conducting an investigation into what happened. Reporter and we know the trainee that was shot is in his 40s. His family has asked that he not be identified. But the doubleamputee claims he accidentally shot steenkamp, believing she was an intruder. I come to the conclusion that the accused has made a case to be released on bail. The main area of low pressure, and its dying now, over southern wisconsin, heading up to the upper great lakes. It spreads snow in that region. In our part of the world, it did bring warmer air over top of the colder air. And lighter precip off to the north. Nothing that is going to hit us later on. Very light precip. Here are some of the stories people are talking about tonight. The midwest gets slammed by a powerful winter storm. The storm dumps more than a foot of snow in some areas. Snow, wind and ice are to blame for at least two deaths and many accidents. As the wintry storm blew across the state of illinois, there was only one way to describe it. Its freezing. The wind is terrible. Earlier thursday, traffic crawled to a near standstill here as the snow began to fall, stranding some cars. Its part of the same massive system that crippled kansas. Parts of the state got nearly a foot and a half of snow. And thats not all. A mix of thunder and lightning made for an unusual weather event called thunder snow. Across the midwest, icy, snowy roads, create a treacherous driving conditions. We cant see the roads. Ice. Its dangerous. Reporter on one slick road. A minivan slid directly into a stoplight before the giant pole came crashing down. And in the town of lawrence, kansas, a car erupted into flames as it tried to climb a snowy hill. For much of the day, interstate senator was closed. The plows were out in full force, trying to clean up the mess. Point a to point b, without having to get stuck somewhere. About 570 flights were canceled today, with 127 of those at chicagos ohare airport. We could see wintry weather here in maryland. Meteorologist tim williams is tracking first warning weather. A lot of snow in the top portion of that system, lifted up to the great lakes. But the lower portion is moving toward the coastline, streaming across the carolinas. And were seeing that moving into the colder air that we have in place. But right on the line where the temperatures are just at about phrasing or so. So were dealing with the freezing or so. So were dealing with the potential for rain and sleet. Were at our coldest. Not expecting to see much out of this at all. National Weather Service is only expecting to see roughly less than a tenth of an inch of any type of sleet. But that is just enough to cause some slick conditions on the road. A man is accused of killing a Queen Annes County teen on his 18th birthday. Bruce johnson is in Police Custody for pulling out a gun and shooting brian flamer several times during a fight. Flamer was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Police say johnson fled from officers before he was arrested. He is charged with Second Degree murder and assault. Well, the Frederick County sheriff is breaking his silence after a developmentally disabled man dies when deputies remove him from a Movie Theater. Christie ileto has more on the backlash, swirling around the department. Reporter Frederick County sheriff Charles Jenkins says his deputies were nothing but professional, when they removed 26yearold robert ethan saylor, who had down syndrome, from a Movie Theater last month. There did come a point where they had to remove him from his seat. By all accounts there was no excessive force. Reporter saylor refused to leave after the healthed a from the Company Health aid from the company told him to wait inside while she got the car. James harris put say lor in handcuffs facedown. Thats when police say he suffered a medical emergency and died. They did have to handcuff mr. Saylor. And unfortunately, as they were walking out, at that point in time, they believe he suffered a medical emergency. Reporter the medical examiner said that saylor dide of asphyxiation, when he was forcibly removed. They are facing homicide now. He has never had anybody put their hands on him before. Reporter the sheriffs deputy was childhood friends with the father. I wish we could have that moment in time back. I really sympathize with this family. Reporter but main say the officers should be disgraced, jailed and fired. We miss him. Reporter now, its not just answers this outraged community wants, but justice for saylor, who many say, loved unconditionably. Unconditionally. The three deputies are if on administrative leave. Frederick countys top prosecutor promises a thorough investigation. Police continue their search for an suv in a driveby shooting that led to a fiery crash on the las vegas strip. The Fire Department says the threeperson flight team, was traveling to pick up a patient. No one on the ground was seriously injured, though. The pilot is credited with doing a remarkable job to avoid crashing into the nursing home. Officials say the skies were clear at the time of the accident. More troubles for Lance Armstrong.
