A sheriffs deputy in florida is being praised as a hero this morning and understandably for his quick thinking that saved the life of a 15monthold boy. Reporter Surveillance Video shows Hillsborough County sheriffs Deputy Steve Donaldson you can see him listening to the babys chest. I never realized how small babies were until theyre in your arms. But the overwhelming responsibility of this job is never understood until you have a baby like cory in your arms and hes not breathing. Reporter donaldson laying the toddler on the ground, administering compressions. In those critical moments before the ambulance could arrive cory started to breathe again.
