The organization cleesing its university of Oklahoma Chapter and tossing out members after a video surfaced so shocking we have bleeped out the offensive words overnight the National Chapter of sigma alpha appearing to show members using a racist chant. An alliance of africanamerican students. Chelsea davis said they posted the video to bring attention to the culture on campus. Well i believe an apology will not suffice. Was this crew allowed to be there . This video taken from a Freight Train barreling toward a terrified movie crew. Not all of them got away in time. Sara jones, a camera assistant on Midnight Rider was killed. And now more than a year later, a jury will decide if her death was a tragic accident or a crime that the movie makers could have prevented. They messed up real bad. Director Randall Miller and his wife and the movies executive producer all charged with Involuntary Manslaughter and criminal trespassing. They werent supposed to be filming when the train sped by at nearly 60 miles per hour. I heard and i saw the train and you just immediately started running. It happened on the first day of shooting. Actor william hurt playing almond in his older years was onset and the crew was filming a scene about a dream when it instead turned into a nightmare. A crew member telling abc news they had only seconds to run for their lives. Sara was the first person i saw. She was lying on the side of the tracks dead. The Railroad Company that owns the bridge says it twice denied the film makers permission to shoot on the tracks. The most challenging aspect is to be able to prove who did what and who is legally responsible for this tragic accident. In a statement miller and his wife said we would never knowing knowingly or intentionally put anybodys safety at risk and in civil court miller said it was not his job to get permits. Im not the one that has permits. I was in the middle of the track and i almost died. Miller and the others pleaded not guilty facing up to a decade in prison if convicted. Lillys mother 25yearold jennifer grossback was killed but her toddler survived trapped in upside down inches away from water so cold it sent three Police Officers and four firefighters to the hospital with hypothermia. The baby was submerged under water. I reached in and pulled her up out of the water and trying to unbuckle the car seat with the other hand. Lilly is now in critical but stable condition. To set it up you all are long time friends and you turn to enemies because of the fateful night when your son is about to be shot by your son and he does what a father has to do. Yeah. Redemption retribution, i know that was something that drew you to it when reading the script. Yeah. The main thing was this gentleman sitting next to me right here. You know. Once we got into it yeah, i get a call from him telling me hes killed my son and part of the pain hearing that news is not just that my son is dead, but that i know what i have got to do because these guys live by a certain code. You take one of mine im going to take one of yours and you. Sure. It really played out. You said liam that you have got two sons. Sure, yeah. And this movie youre trying to win back your sons trust. Absolutely. So its funny, we were doing people were asking how does that all come to play the fact that youre a parent . Of course it does. You know what i mean . It not a big leap of the imagination. My son in the picture is my eldest boys first name michael. So its an easily leap to make you know what i mean . The action in this and i looked up and im like is that nick nolte there. But your fight scenes and mark is your long time stunt double but you mix it up and like to be in the fight scenes. I like doing my own fighting yeah yeah yeah. We have done 16 pictures together. He does all the heavy stuff, you know. Keeps you young, robin, you know. And you are young at heart. And ed you were very busy because while you were doing this you were also on broadway doing eight show as week . Yeah a play called the jacksonian. The production was great. They worked it out. I wasnt working on the film every night. A couple times i do the play and then go shoot that night. Butfine. Excuse me. He was Getting Police escorts every night to make the half hour call. You know. Youre going to tell him a little bit. Im going to tell on him a bit. But you have made it part of first of all im wearing one of your wrap dresses. I cant believe recently we celebrated 40 years of this. That was my way to empower myself. And the minute i was empowered, because it was fashion, i was empowering other women without realizing it. As i was becoming confident i was selling confidence. The woman i wanted to be. Thought i knew everything about you but then i read your book and the times you were on the verge of bankruptcy and people saying you cant do this. You knew your truth. Every morning when you wake up you have different challenges but you have to take them on and deal with it the best you can and then sometimes you realize that what you thought at first was a bad thing turns outs to be a good thing.
