I didnt know what it was. I went back to sleep. Sounds like it could have been a car crash. At 5 30 this morning they were called to the 10,000 block of deadwood avenue because of the shooting. It is a shock to hear that someone was shot. This has never happened here before. I have been here for 17 years. The victim was texting one of the males before the shooting and, for some reason, they decided to meet up and there was a confrontation. An 18yearold woman was shot multiple times. Police believe the suspect could be a 13yearold boy. Off quite ataped large area here, but they tell me that at some point the suspect stood over the victim, fell to the ground, and fired more shots at her. He is still on the run. What is important is that there is a young person with a firearm still out there. Before anything gets worse, we want to get him and that done safely and our custody. Several revenue residents told us that they heard gunshots, but the responding officers were not injured. It does not appear that the robbery victim was physically harmed. The house and the senate have each passed a version of the bill to pat to fund highway and bridge repairs, but the fund will run out of money on friday if they cant work out the differences between the bills. The Fairfax County board of supervisors rejected a bid to extend the life of the wharton landfill. The owner originally wanted to keep it open until 2040. They then offered a compromise date of 2025. Metropolitan Area Transit Authority and three of its contractors have been slapped with a classaction lawsuit, accused of using an overly broad criminal background screening policy affecting a huge number of africanamericans.
