In west allis school has problems with the school buses and some of the parents have to find another way to get their kids to school. Tim is with the latest. Right now, nothing is posted about this on the west Allis Facebook page. Some of the parents got a phone call and saying that the buses are not able to reach certain students. We are dont know how many studentses are affected by this. The families are saying they wont have the bussing until this is only for certain routes and parents should have received a phone call if they are affected by this issue. Wisn 12 news hasnt been able to speem to anyone from the district on the problems with the buses. Stay with us for updated information. Tim, thank you. This morning students in glendale are headed back to school and treated like movie stars. They are rolling out the red carpet. A driver in a crash that killed two cousins the charged. 17yearold faces two counts of he was speeding when lost control and hit a tree last friday. 15yearold cousins were both killed. Barns and another teenager in the car survived. Remembering the life of one of the two nuns murdered in their home in mississippi. It was a week since the nuns were both murdered in their home. Now later today planned for sister held who had ties to the milwaukee area. Hundreds attended a memorial mass down in mississippi where the two nuns worked for more than 20 years. They were found stabbed to death in their home last thursday. Now the police say that Rodney Earl Sanders confessed to the crime and charged with two counts of capital murder. Parents told wisn 12 news that the School Promises to excuse it to School Without the bus. You might notice some changes with milwaukees school buses this year. Instead of just using flashing yellow lights when dropping kids off, drivers are now required to use yellow and red lights and to extend the stop arm. Thats the mission of sylville smiths brother more than two weeks after the shooting. Tim, what is sedan smith asking for . He wants to see the body camera footage from the shooting, and hes not the only one. A group of Peaceful Protesters gathered last night at sherman park where theres a memorial set up for sylville smith. Smiths brother says theyll continue to gather until the video is released. The state department of justice if we dont get that video theres, going to be a lot more of this to come and im not saying it in a violent way, im saying i will schedule more peaceful protests. I will. I will be everywhere with a peaceful protests. Neighbors told wisn 12 news that they understand why people are protesting, but they want their neighborhood to return to normal. Tim, thank you. Tuesday night police made 11 arrests at 44th and auer where that Police Shooting took place. One of the people taken into custody is a state Jonathan Brostoff says he wasnt arrested but police handcuffed him and put him in the back of a police van. Brostoff says police threw him to the ground but let him go when they found out who he was. A battle going on between county officials on when to close sherman park. County workers tried to take down the fence yesterday but sheriffs deputies stopped them. Since the unrest, the Milwaukee County Sheriffs Office has kept people in the neighborhood say its time to go back to normal. County executive chris abele agrees, he and other county officials want the sheriff to take down the fence and let the park stay open until 10 00 p. M. I think the residents and the people of Milwaukee County need that park back open to bring closure to everything that happened two weeks ago in sherman park. It would be a benefit for the community because it would say the healing is really beginning. A spokeswoman from the Sheriffs Office sent a statement to wis the sheriff gets to choose his own way and means of carrying out his duty. New on wisn 12, two men stranded in rough seas. The nypd organized a rescue operation. Take a look. High tide rushed in while they were on the jetty in new york city. The jetty kept getting smaller as the tide came in and the so a chopper flew in with an officer dangling underneath it. He got the men into harnesses and got them to safety. New on wisn 12, a Police Officer in oklahoma steps in when he sees a cat in need of help. The officer was driving his daughter to school at the time. He spotted the cat with a can stuck on its head. So her dad stopped the car, walked over and pulled the can off. There it goes. He gave the cat a quick headscratch then it ran off. The cat got every last lick in that can. Pena nieto tweeted that they did discuss it and that mexico will not foot the bill. Pena nieto said it was a constructive meeting. Hillary clinton is responding to trumps meeting in mexico. President obama visited lake tahoe yesterday and talked about preventing Environmental Issues before they happen. It was part of the lake tahoe summit which has been going on since 1997. Yes, the fire was elect cal in nature. Hundreds of patients it started in a generator room and knocked out power to most of the hospital. 290 patients were evacuated overnight, the most critical ones left first. Its a painstaking process to evacuate. The patients have to be carried down stairs because elevators may be dangerous. Investigators are trying to find out what caused the fire. A crowd of protestor have been outside of the courthouse 24 7 and calling for murder charges. Prosecutors say that the officer shot into a car without seeing the person inside. The driver was killed. Car tried to run him down but the video told a different story. The protestor celebrated with the hearing of the indictment. We are pushing for a conviction in the case. New development in the case attorney wants him out of jail. Couchs Attorney Says couch should never have been sent to jail because he was under 18 at the time.
