And we got my famous pork and mindys pig candy here and were going to sprinkle that on top and youre going to get that kind of crunch from some toasted pea cans and a little color from the fresh parsley on this. I mean, it was a movie that i loved so much. Shirley mcclane has an absolutely flawless, flawless performance. But you know, she was 50 years old we she got the Academy Award for it which meant she was about 48, 49 and im 48 so it works out. Yeah. Did you love that movie . I loved it so much. I remember crying so hard in the movie. If you want to let the floodgates open. Yeah, exac our play, itser in be er never as a play before. Our play is a combination between the james brooks screenplay and the larry mcmertry book. Is that pressure because Shirley Mcclane played that role before you . I would say theres a fair amount of pressure because it was such an incredible amount of performance. I saw it a bunch when i was a teenager and made the choice not to watch it again because it would be hard not to make either single choice that she made. But you know because youre many films you get a chance to do it a ton of times when you do it in the film but you dont get another chance on the stage, your performance is what it is in that moment. You have a lot of days to explore and try different things. Im really trying to find my own way into the character and make her a little different. Shes a little bit more like the aurora in the book. And, you know, i put a lot of myself and people i know are you thinking of that same period or have you freshened what year . It does late 70s into the early 80s. Theres loss a span of time.
