And with that in mind, dangerous mudslides likely across portions of hispaniola. Likely on the western edges of haiti or eastern side of cuba as it moves north here at 6mph. This has been a very slow mover over the last several days. It will continue to be a she mover over next several day, as well, likely moving across and then a major hurricane through the bahamas. And this will go all the way through this week into early on saturday morning. And this may be getting close to the carolina coastline if not very close to the florida coast, as well. Now, you notice how its almost running parallel to the coastline. The question is does it keep running almost parallel to the coastline or eventually does it take that snap hook right and head out to sea. Kind of a split in the model camps here. You know, if this is a slower storm and it hangs out down through the carolina i think a better chance of early next week it starts to slide off to the eastnortheast fairly far away from new england. Just a little quicker to meet up with a front saturday into sunday. And it may get a close path here across new england. So its something well keep an eye on. Way too far out to saidie fintively either way or not. Again, this comes up quickly and runs along this front, its a closer call. Talk about forcing that tropical moisture up mountains that are 6,000, 10,000, feet high. Potential of mudslides across haiti and the dominican republic. This storm moving due north at 6mph right now, likely working on the western edges of haiti if not eastern cuba as you get into tomorrow. Question is late week into the weekend, does it get close to carolina coastline or does it stay off shore enough where theres not a direct impact or a major hit along the carolina coastline. This powerful category four storm is counting parts of the caribbean as we speak. Its one of the strongest Atlantic Hurricanes in recent history. Jamaica and haiti are getting hit right now from the potentially devastating storm packing 130mph winds. And ahead of matthew, streets in jamaica flooded with water. Rain started to come down look at all that water. Up to 20 inches of rain could quickly fall while rains continue to pound that area. And people in cuba evacuating the coast. Workers are cutting down limbs that are hanging over power lines and homes. Authorities also removed Traffic Signals to protect them from the winds. And families in Guantanamo Bay evacuating naval station ahead of the storm, as well. Prisoners and Service Members are saying there and the u. S. Weather service says this is the strongest hurricane in the atlantic since 2007. About this for the next week, possibly become factor in our forecast later on on saturday. Mud slides will be an issue for those countries. This track puts it on the western edge of haiti, eastern edges of cuba here tomorrow and florida, at least the florida coastline some time late this week, early this weekend up through the carolina coastline. Thereafter we have the watch to see how fast does it move up the coast. If its a little bit quicker. It could kind of get out ahead of this front. It gets closer toward southern new england toward next weekend. If its slow, it kind of stays down here into the weekend, and the area of the High Pressure in this front may be enough later on in the time frame to kick it out back to sea here moving off to the northeast and it wouldnt be as much of a so we keep an eye on things for next weekend.
