Pauls prep school that l closely watched trial. Labrie was convicted of Sexual Assault. But acquitted on the more serious charge of felony rape. He said that they didnt believe that he did it knowingly. And that frustrated me a lot. Because he definitely did do it knowingly. The fact that he was still able to pull the wool over a group of peoples eyes bothered m. S. Me a lot. And just disgusted me. Reporter she wanted to trial made it tough. One of my old friends that were boys would talk to me. They didnt even look me in the eyes. I guess they were uncomfortable or what. I dont know. Reporter she left st. Pauls. The family filed a civil lawsuit, failing the school failed to meet its basic obligation to protect children entrusted to its care. They say it is not about the money. We feel an obligation that this not happen to any future unfortunately, it seems like the schools reputation became more important rather than supporting our daughter. Reporter st. Pauls released a statement saying we categorically deny that there ever existed at the school a culture or tradition of Sexual Assault. However, there is no denying the survivors experience caused us to look anew at the culture and brought about positive changes. As for the victim, she deals with the effects of what years ago. Hiding in her closet during panic attacks sometimes so her little sister doesnt see her like that. She comes into my room sometimes. She will come into my closet when im rocking on the floor. And punching my legs trying to get myself to calm down. And she will try to give me the biggest hug. She will say you are okay. Our day. I cant imagine how scary it is do this alone. And in bristol, New Hampshire, a man died after trying to save four drowning children. Police say the children were playing in the smith river. One of them started to struggle. That is when the 39yearold at some point, though, he went under the water and didnt come back up. Good samaritans then were able to jump in and help out those four children. They are now saying this mill fire is suspicious. The building went up in flames early monday morning. And investigators believe it is suspicious because there is no power on in the mill. An official on the scene says jb paper factory has been closed and vacant for a while now. And there was no power or gas to that building. Officials are calling the fire suspicious. A brockton man facing charg today afterpolice say he sexually assaulted a teenage girl. Investigators say this 15yearolds parents confronted the 24yearold suspect on sunday, after he had been sending Inappropriate Text Messages to her for several weeks. That subpoena is due in court in november. Christa new details today on the duck boat crash that happened on Storrow Drive. The driver has been cited and fined 100. Police say he drove the duck boat in to Storrow Drive and the roof. Luckily no, one onboard was hurt. And firefighters battling this huge brush fire in wilmington. The North Carolina bureau of investigation released monday the audio of a state trooper and dispatch personnel after the trooper fatally shot a deaf man in front of his north so during this 7minute stretch, the trooper Jermaine Saunders radios dispatch that the driver isnt pulling over but is going faster, reaching speeds of more than a hundred Miles Per Hour.
