Despite todays arrest, some people promised a fight isnt over yet. People are standing up for their lives. We are going to keep trying. We are going to try to shut them down. Reporter no one from the company putting this gas pipeline in was available on scene to give comments. The protesters we spoke to say they plan to be back out here again tomorrow. Looking ahead through the timeline here, it takes until 3 00 or 4 00 this afternoon for those scattered showers to become more widespread. There could be some areas that see steady rainfall for some time. This storm system, it is really cruising through here. And it will make its way out by the time we hit midnight tonight. Elga crespo was found in a thick wooded area on chelmsford on monday. She was reported missing on october 25. There were no obvious signs of foul play. Her disappearance triggered a massive search by Law Enforcement agencies, including here in lowell where a team searched the area in and around her apartment complex. Crespos death remains under investigation by police and the middlesex district attorneys office. Also on 7 a bad crash on the cape sending a state trooper to the hospital. Investigators say a driver going the wrong way slammed headon into the police krutzer. Nicole oliverio has the latest. Reporter state Police Trooper placed in an ambulance after his patrol car was hit headon by a wrongway driver. The injured trooper was one of two trying to slow and warn drivers that a pickup truck was heading in the wrong direction along route six in barnstable. State police got the call around 11 30 last night. They say an 80yearold man was heading east in the westbound lane. It is unclear how long he was driving in the wrong direction, but he eventually crashed into the state Police Cruiser near exit six. The Barnstable Fire Department responded and say it took a trooper out of his damaged car. The trooper was taken to Cape Cod Hospital where he has already been treated and released and is expected to be okay. Investigators say the elderly driver suffered from a medical condition and should havent he was also taken to the hospital as a precaution. The elderly driver was cited and will be summoned to court. Six people report meeting someone online but when they show up to meet them facetoface, it is a setup. The victim say a guy pulls out a gun and robs them. You should always meet in a public place first. Great advice. The victims were lured to homes in roxbury or mattapan. Police also say when using Online Dating sites, dos your homework. Ask to facetime, skype or webchat first. If the person wont do that, they could be hiding something. Another red flag is a new or incomplete profile. I try to see if they have facebook. Make sure you have to be safe. Christa police do think there may be other victims out there. If you know anything about these incidents, police are asking that you contact them.
