Investigators say a man stabbed his mother with a knife and then ran off. Police later arrested him in dorchester. That suspect is charged with assault with a deadly weapon. A centerville man is facing drug charges. Officers say 16 pounds of marijuana were discovered inside a box shipped from california to centerville. According to police the marijuana is worth about 70,000. The post office believed the package was suspicious and contacted barnstable police. Officer arrested 37yearold sean white after he received the package tuesday. Investigators say white had two similar packages both from california already in his truck. Hes charged with possession and intent to distribute. A man is arrested and charged with girlfriend. After he killed his girlfriend and unborn apartment. Police dont have a murder. The victims family says the relationship was strained from the beginning. One witness even described it as volatile.
