Adam, a very scary and intense situation here earlier as those two mothers and their five children were all involved in this wreck. Luckily tonight they are all doing okay. Reporter husband and father christmas terse says his heart nearly stopped when he got a phone call from a neighbor earlier telling him that his wife and three children were involved in this car crash. His family along with another mother who also happens to be pregnant were crossing the street headed to the park when a driver hit him. Our son chase was four and a half, got the brunt of it, my wife, generally, luckily got out of the way. She had a scrape on his head and scrapes throughout his body. He is very scared. Fouryearold chase along with another child and that pregnant mother rushed to the hospital. Neighbors are outraged tonight saying people need to slow down. Its just horrific. Its not right. It has to stop. The police chief says he is going to make sure that happens. People just need to be extremely vigilant and were certainly going to increase our enforcement in this area. The initial call over the weekend was a 911 call that residents claim this is a case of neighbors who want them out of neighborhood because they are muslims. And now police have just released the 911 call they received. I live at 22 francis avenue i grabbed there are shots being fired. A swat team converging on the tripledecker of they received that 911 call. The six residents who are naturalized citizens from morocco claimed they were sleeping and no gunfire was ever exchanged.
