When crews arrived this is smoke was coming out the front of the building. They found the man in the front room of the top floor in critical condition. Ever been said the house was on fire. Everyone in the family was out. Then she went upstairs to help her neighbors escape. 16 people are displaced including a pregnant woman. Firefighters do not know what caused this fire. Chicago Fire Department divers pulled a woman out of the lake, near montrose harbor. The woman was taken to the hospital where she is in very critical condition. Divers looked for more victims, but they didnt find any. Theres no word yet on how the woman ended up in the water. Four people have been killed and at least 35 injured in shootings across chicago since friday night. A 17yearold boy was one of the victims. On friday night, Leonore Draper was shot in her car near her home in the 13hundred block of west 116th street. She was returning home from an antiviolence event that she helped organize. This man is being held on 750 thousand dollars bond after being charged with first degree murder. Prosecutors say Darrell Cooper struck and killed artez mcbride with his car after getting into an argument. It happened Early Saturday Morning near the intersection of central and madison. Cooper first tried to attack mcbride with a large wooden stick. Cooper took off from the scene, but turned himself into police later that afternoon. A 24hour vigil is going on right now to pay tribute to officers who have died in the line of duty.
