But the officer ended up hospitalized. Bob ward is live in worcester with how this all played out, bob . The reporter this all went down not long after midnight this morning. And it all quickly spiraled out of control and now, a 19yearold worcester man is facing felony charges here at worcester court. 19yearold connor davis of worcester, under arrest, charged with assault with intent to murder a worcester Police Officer, during a confrontation at this burger king restaurant early tuesday morning. Police say, it all unfolded at about 12 30 a. M. In the morning. Worcester Police Officer jeremy smith working a detail heard davis yelling at the drive through, as officer smith approached davis who was driving a kia forthe sedan. Police allege davis drove into the Police Officer, striking his left leg and foot. Police say officer smith, fearing for his life, shot twice at davis car. The car was struck, davis was not. Instead, connor davis fled, only to be captured a few streets away. In court, as davis parents listened, prosecutors shanea woodard called connor davis a dangerous person and asked that he be held on no bail until the next hearing. The defendant was not cooperating with police, he was being dangerous, he attempted to run over a Police Officer and fled after numerous commands to stop and after the police had to use force to stop him, your honor. The reporter well, officer smith was sent to umass Medical Center, where they took a look at his leg injuries. He was treated and released. Pregnant woman was inside that car when it flipped. Police tell us the crash happened this morning near beach and silver streets when another car tried to change lanes. The pregnant passenger and the driver were hurt but expected to be ok. Elizabeth this is the weapon that was allegedly found on 18yearold luis crispin jr. Last night. Police were investigating the possible fight between two groups in lowell when they stopped crispin and a friend. Police say they found this loaded. 38 semiautomatic on crispin. Lowell sun reports that he pleaded not guilty to a list of charges today, and is being held on 10,000 bail. Lowell, a teenager and two 12yearolds were accused of use ago beebee gun, they found kids using it gun and tossing rocks at the people below. Lowell police tell us the situation could have been much worse. This beebee gun is an exact replica of the handgun carried by many Law Enforcement agencies and could have been mistaken for a real weapon by responds officers. The technology was highlighted earlier this year. Federal Officials Say ptc could prevent tragedies like the deadly derailment in philadelphia. This week, the mbta fiscal control board made progress voting to spend over 450 million to install ptc on all Commuter Rail lines by 2020. The work will begin on lines extending from south station first, then work moves to lines extending from north station. The mbta says it hopes to borrow money through federal programs. Are fare hikes at this point inevitable . I think they are, but not the for the positive train rally. State police say their investigation found Valentine Soto Perez stole a manchesters mans identity and used it to get a license at the dmv. When they searched his apartment, they found a large amount of heroin, cocaine and crash. A crash landing for a paraglider in New Hampshire. Mark investigators say the man took off this morning and flew nearly two miles to his house. He started circling and then he got into trouble, crashing near deerfield road in candia l the pilot wound up stuck in the trees. It was the dog walker behind the quincy Tower Apartments who found that gravestone last night and police, of course, with the halloween weekend, were worried that somebody had actually stolen it, but they figured out that there was a mistake on the gravestone and thats why it wasnt with the person who was buried. Kind of shocked, you know. Nobody likes the idea of cemetery headstones turning up outside their apartment. I was actually surprised. But this one was found in a spot nobody noticed until now, so police fearing it was stolen overhaul wean weekend started trying to find Carlton Knight jr. , who died in 1996, they got a hit with the name at a marblehead cemetery, but it wasnt the same person. Police were called to the home on washington street after getting reports of a man being stabbed, the victim was taken to the hospital, is expected to recover. The suspect, 49yearold larry king jr. Mark socalled bandaid bandit arrested in connection with a south Boston Bank Robbery before 3 00 p. M. Yesterday afternoon, police were called to bank robbery on west broadway. The suspect put his hand on his hip to indicate he had a gun. The teller gave police the detailed description of the suspect, knowing he had a bandaid and scars or in his face. Officers found the suspect sitting on the toilet at the nearby burger king. The search turned up 3,500. 53yearold Robert Wickson of boston was charged with armed robbery.
