This is on northwest 31st street area. The crime scene investigators are working to collect evidence after someone walked up to the victim and shot him multiple times. We spoke to some neighbors that said that around 1 am this morning they heard about nine gunshots, saw a man lying on the ground in front of his home, and based on the preliminary investigation, the shooting came out of the blue. They do not know why this man was targeted, and asking for the publics help. If you know anything, you are asked to call the miami dade crimestoppers. There was a series of confrontations after the mother called the police for help, and they said that they were not surprised by the decision. Mothers seeking justice for their murdered children marched outside the office of the miami dade state attorney. They accused prosecutors of being not responding to the needs of the families of the victims. They said the cases are not considered a seriously as the murder for the highprofile cases. They are determined to get to the bottom of that case, and we want the same justice. They blame the lack of arrests and cuts on the policing for lack of prosecution.
