Questions this morning about a Hillsborough County warehouse fire that destroyed a building and left dozens of animals dead. Terrific or terrible scene rather. Flames shot high into the sky as crews tried to save the animals in the inside. Ryan hughes is live at the scene. The big question is why were the animals in the warehouse to begin with and is that even fire at this warehouse is still under investigation as authorities are trying to figure out what happened. Check out this video from eagle 8 hd. You can see a plume of thick black smoke billow into the area. It took 60 firefighters to get the fire inside the metal structure under control. Birds, cats, dogs and a monkey named ringo were inside. The ran a animal warehouse rescue called tipped cat. The owner was upset but said its part of the circle of life. Listen here. When you are an animal lover you get used to death and sickness. You accept bad things and deal with it and then get up and go help other animals. Three of the victims were on their way home from church when the crash happened. Maria moreo, her daughter, isabella and her son john died. Survived but is at the hospital along with a cousin who was critically injured in the crash. Relatives are heartbroken. I dont wish this upon anybody at all. I mean, hes in pieces. It hurts because im sure theres families out there who have suffered so much pain and i can only imagine how it feels to lose, you know, 90 of your family.
