All 25 crew members taken to the hospital. Exactly why, still a mystery tonight. After takeoff from san francisco. Can you say again the emergency for me please . Toxic fumes. T toxic gas type, it seems. Reporter an emergency declared as the jet dumps jet fuel, passengers get the word. People started panicking because the woman in the seat next to us was crying. Some people started to not feel very well. Reporter but the British Airways pilots divert to vancouver, a 90minute flight away, which can better handle i felt the plane turn, turn all the sudden, and then i looked at the tv screen and i saw that we had done a complete uturn, and i was just like, whats going on here . How many passengers are affected . 11 crew members that were affected by the situation, and a few passengers. Reporter but once on the ground, not one passenger is taken to the hospital. British airways says the entire crew was as a precaution. It remains a mystery, because British Airways still needs to come forth with what sickened this crew, if the crew did, indeed, get sick. Why were passengers not affected and david kerley joins us live tonight. And dave, your team also talking to other passengers on that plane who say crew members actually passed out during the flight . Reporter one passenger is telling us that he was told by a Flight Attendant that three members of the crew did pass out. British airways is not confirming that. They are only saying an investigation is under way, and odor is being investigated. David, all those 25 crew members were discharged from the hospital. Thats good news. Tonight. David, thank you. But heres what happened earlier today four people were killed in their circular raft as the ride was coming to an end. Witnesses say the raft in front of them had just emptied and was stuck on the conveyor belt. The approaching raft crashed into it and then flipped, two children survived.
