Tamar harris was shot friday, while riding in a car in the east altamonte area. Wesh 2 s greg fox spoke with a witness. Greg no one answered the door at the home where the teenaged victim s family lives. Earlier, wesh 2 news was in the neighborhood where crime scene , investigators were looking for clues in the murder of 15yearold tamar harris. He was fatally shot, at central and pine street in Altamonte Springs. Witnesses tell investigators the gunman stood in the street, and fired shots into a car in which harris was a passenger. Doris pittman heard four shots. I was inside of the house. And i heard the gunshots. And first, after i heard the gunshots, i stopped doing what i was doing and got low, because bullets are flying in the you don t know no stranger, you greg after those bullets flew, the driver of the car sped down the block, and crashed into a light pole at the intersection with merritt street. Tamar harris was lying on the street next to the car when deputies arrived. After things kind of quieted down, that s when i called 911, and i looked out. I saw people running and i said, oh my, something happened again. Greg pittman tells us, the neighborhood just east of Altamonte Springs is putting good people in harm s way. I wish they could do something in this neighborhood, because it so bad. It is very very bad, with the , crimes, with the drugs. Greg wesh 2 grandmother. Alex this morning, the carjacking suspect shot by Orlando Police remains in the hospital. Police plan to charge Danielle Evans with attempted murder and armed carjacking with a firearm. Detectives also questioned two men, who were with her at the time, but they were released. A surveillance camera, near bumby avenue and south street, captured the stolen car trying to drive off as officers approached friday. Police say they opened fire when evans crashed the car into multiple cruisers. Three officers are now on paid leave. Orange county investigators are looking into how a couple died in a touristarea apartment. Marvin baker was found just one day after his 32nd birthday, along with his girlfriend, kadian hall. As wesh 2 s matt lupoli reports, deputies don t believe any killers are on the loose. We do have two individuals. Sadly who are deceased in this , unit. were called to this apartment complex on mission club boulevard just before 9 a. M. Saturday. A couple was found dead in one of the units here. A relative found the pair lifeless. He apparently doesn t live in this unit, went into one of the bedrooms and found two people , deceseased or so he thought. Fire rescue arrived, as did our deputies. Fire rescue pronounced the two deceased. Matt deputies identified the couple as 29yearold kadian hall and 32yearold marvin barker. Invetsigators spent hours looking into what happened, but it s not clear exactly what led to their deaths. Deputies haven t said the manner in which their lives were taken. And while detectives aren t ruling anything out yet, they say at this point they re not looking for any suspects. Right now we are not looking , for anyone outstanding.
