Erik williams talk to my lawyer, got to talk to my chris 35yearold Erik Williams is out of jail released thursday , night on a more than 20,000 bond. He was arrested earlier this week when a 6yearold girl he was babysitting found a loaded gun and shot herself with it. Why was the gun stored under a sofa . Erik williams you ve got to talk to my lawyer. Mom no comment. Chris are you going to fight the charges . Mom no comment. Get in the car. Is already done. Chris police say the 6yearold found the gun under a sofa tuesday night at this home on highlawn avenue in sanford. She would later die from her injuries. The patient is in the trauma bay right now. I really don t have any, they didn t give me any details. They just like, carried the kid in. Chris in newly released 911 calls, you hear medical staff call authorities when the child was taken to the emergency room after shooting herself in the shoulder. Rosalind williams it s not his gun. He don t carry a gun. He s not a violent person. Chris earlier thursday, the suspect s mother told wesh 2 that williams intentions were the 6yearold victim was williams fiance s niece. When asked if he felt bad for what happened yeah i feel bad. Mom you don t have to say anything else. Chris tonight, williams still faces three charges. That includes child neglect, unsafe storage of a firearm, and possesion of a weapon by a felon. His next Court Appearance is on april 5. Live in Seminole County, chris hush, wesh 2 news. Meredith three teens have to be pulled from a swampy ditch in Brevard County after the truck they re riding in slides into a canal. It happened in a private area along quarno road in sharpes. Deputies say the teens were riding in some soft sand when their truck lost control and flipped onto its roof. There wasn t much water in the canal, so crews were able to get to the teens right away. Com or the wesh 2 mobile app. Meredith two people have been arrested after they were accused of stealing money from a girl scout selling cookies outside a local walmart. 20yearold Nicholas Delbrugge was arrested along with his winters. 12yearold girl scout s cash box while she was selling cookies in front of a Deltona Walmart on sunday. After a surveillance picture was released from the incident, a New Smyrna Beach Police Officer recognized him. That officer then went to the suspect s Facebook Page and started looking at some pictures. Some of the photos were taken from inside of a vehicle. He looked up the vehicle that was involved in the incident, the robbery. They compared document images of the interior to the interior in the photos on facebook. They could tell this was very similar and most likely the same vehicle. Meredith that is good work areas delbrugge is being held on 150,000 bond. Police say 21yearold Gianluca Massaro was at a bar called debauchery in downtown melbourne on super bowl sunday. When the bar closed, police say 53yearold Kent Wilbanks propositioned massaro. Police later found wilbanks lying face up, in a pool of blood, with several injuries to his head that a medical examiner believes were made by someone s hands or feet. A shadowy picture from a surveillance camera led to massaro after a threeweek investigation. He s charged with seconddegree murder.
