Morning. 73 right now in boston. 72 bedford. 79 atop blue hill. 70s down through the cape and islands as well. I think the thing youre going to complain about this morning if it were anything would be the humidity. Check it out. It is uncomfortably oppressive. A lot of oranges and reds on the map here. Weve keyed in exactly how it feels out there this morning. But fear not, because by later on this afternoon, this is whats going to be mov pleasant to refreshing air. Weve got that humidity to deal with for about the first half of the day today. Showers and thunderstorms will signify the transition between these two air masses. There have been plenty of thunderstorms moving through burlington, vermont and flashes of lightning around the midcoast of maine. Well time these showers out for you. They will be heading in our direction by later on during the midday hours. Showers and thunderstorms moving into western massachusetts by midday. It is hard to believe it has been 15 years since the september 11 attacks. For families, it doesnt seem like that long. We kept up with couple of women who lost their husbands to see how theyre moving forward and how theyre giving back to the community. Took it one day at a time. There are few the september 11 attacks have not touched. Today im in a good place. Yesterday i was a mess. Tomorrow ill be a mess. Cindy mcgintys center was one of thousands who never made it home. Initially, we didnt know if mike was alive or dead, because he was in the building. He wasnt in the airplane. So i thought the more people that saw his face, they might find him. That motivated cindy to open the door to a young in my face, Cindy Mcginty opened the door to me. One of many friendships born from michaels passing. When i got news, cindy is the first one i called. Christy lost her husband jeff. Both she and cindy have turned grief into motivation to create lasting memories. Mike was a family guy. On friday night when he came home from work, he was all about created the Family Fun Day in foxborough. Its about paying it forward. Its about having people remember the good that happened. The terrorists thought they were going to drag us apart, but they brought us together. Police tweeting these photos of the aftermath last night. The accident happened at what police are calling a large offcampus party. Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt. New information on a deadly boat crash in taunton. The boaters taking places in races on watson pond. Three their boats after colliding. That accident happening after one of the boats spun out at 65 miles an hour. A 39yearold New Hampshire man died at the scene, and a 67yearold man from maine was rushed to a hospital in critical condition. A third man suffered minor injuries. I had been in a few accidents over my 23 years. And i knew it didnt look good. Last thing, you know, we expected was an accident. See this happen. The taunton Fire Departments dive team was on the scene for that race and pulled all three drivers out of the water. The crash still under investigation. State police have made an arrest in the deadly crash along i95 in boxford. Nathaniel armstrong from amesbury crashed. A man was pronounced dead. Including oui and Motor Vehicle homicide. A New Hampshire man is behind bars in connection to a murder in danville. 37yearold Richard Moore of danville is charged with seconddegree murder. The attorney general says moore repeatedly stabbed 51yearold joanne boucher. She was found dead inside her home last week. Neighbors say moore, a registered sex offender, had been living with boucher for months. Neighbors in the area. My kids can go outside and not worry. They can walk by that house. Moore is expected to be in court tomorrow. A Home Invasion is under investigation in worcester this morning. Police say six men and two women drove up to a home on clark street and forced their way in and at least one of the men was armed with a tire iron. Two teenagers were in that house. They fought off their attackers with a baseball bat. The incident does not appear to be random at least one 18yearold girl is being charged in connection with that attack. There is now a reward for information about a fire that destroyed a home in holliston. That fire broke out on mayflower landing yesterday morning. It was a new home still under construction. Holliston fire tweeted out these pictures from that scene. Arson watch is now offering up to 5,000 in reward money for information. Five people hurt in a yesterday. Two passengers were thrown from the van. The cause of the crash still under investigation. A prestigious braintree prep school confirming its headmaster has been suspended. Stephen bliss was caught in a sex sting. In a statement, the school says the allegations are not in any way connected with the school or its students. Bliss is dueac month. Right now, Walpole Police are working to find whoever spray painted a message on the high school. Police saying its clear the vandalism is in response to a decision to cancel all dances this year. The Walpole High School principal says its because several students repeatedly showed up drunk to last years dance. The graffiti also targeted police. But that other basket of people are people who feel the government the economy has let them down. They dont buy everything he says. Trumps running mate, mike pence, responded. They are not a basket of anything. They are americans, and they deserve your respect. Later saturday, clinton stopped short of any apology but said in a statement, quote, i regret saying half. Thats not to say you will not get this activity into the however, i think the strongest storms will be concentrated in this area.
