Frank weymouths mayor, fire chief, and other officials will hold a meeting after that Facebook Post went viral. The post allegedly made on a firefighters personal facebook account. It calls the overdosereversing drug narcan the worst drug ever created. The post suggests letting overdose victims die. After reading that post, people flooded the Fire Departments official facebook page, some calling the comments disgraceful. We talked to one man who drove straight to the fire department. Its very emotional for him. He lost his son, a veteran, to an overdose in may. I was angry. I wasnt going there to start a fight or anything. I know most firemen are great that guy though, you know, i wanted to bring a picture of my son in when he was in his uniform not that long ago. The mbta is dealing with a slew of problems with its new the globe reports two of the trains had such problems with frozen engines and overheating that they had to be sent back to tests. The 40 new locomotives started running in 2014 at a cost of about 222 million. The mbta is now working with manufacturers to fix at least nine defects.
