Smokers visiting new york may soon find it hard to light up. A bill proposed by state lawmakers would ban smoking at hotels and motels across the state. New york already has an outdoor smoking ban that prohibits places. If passed, this bill would make new york the fifth state to prohibit smoking in hotel and motel rooms. Several National Chains such as marriott, westin and hilton already ban smoking in all of their hotels. A park on long island has fallen on hard times. After more than 7 months the deflategate saga is resolved. But its not really over. The nfl is going to appeal this decision. The judge released a 40 page document revealing his decision was not based on the merits of the investigation. But the process. The nfl used during the investigation. The judge outlined every level of overreach by the nfl Commission Roger Goodell for lack of evidence to lack of notice to the fact the commissioner appointed himself the original appeals officer. This is a reward. He has been Legal Counsel in a number of highprofile sports case. It is a black eye for the nfl and i say that because this is a case where the commissioner spoke and a judge said you were wrong. Big win for the players association. They have laid the foundation for similar types of proceedings in federal court. The patriots play tonight against the giants.
