Temperatures as we go throughout the day, we will drop a little more, so by 8 00, 48 degrees, and by lunchtime, warming up nicely once the sun gets going. Police in Montgomery County believe the same person is to blame. The fires were all intentionally set in pensburg. People in that community are understandably very concerned. Concerned and on edge, ted, after knowing from police the same person may be responsible. Take a look at the video. Imagine going outside and heading to work and you find this. Its what people in pennsburg discovered thursday morning. Not far away on west side alley, this garage was gutted. Families told us its terrifying, and police were called when two cars were left charred nearby friday morning, and many in the closeknit neighborhood say they are joining tpoerbsz with hopes of preventing further destruction. I think you have to keep an eye out, no matter where you are nowadays, and if you see something say something. The neighbors we spoke with, they suspect kids are excommittg the crimes in the wee hours of the morning. We will hear from more families who are quite concerned about the arsonists. Bail denied. Thats the ruling for a man now charged with a cold case rain and murder of a teenager from more than 30 years ago. George shaw is accused of sexually assaulting and killing a 14yearold girl. A judge arraigned him yesterday and family members of the victim were in the courtroom. Rowan was baby sitting in 1984 when she vanished, and it took 31 years for police to arrest shaw who had been living in florida. Prosecutors say during that time shaw also rained a 69yearold woman from Montgomery County. The break in the murder case came from this man, robert sanders. He admitted to helping shaw dispose of the girls body. Authorities tied shaw to the crime with sanders testimony before a grand jury. The owner of the auto tag shop in southwest philadelphia is dealing with more misery. On thursday a robber stabbed him 20 times and he remains in critical condition. Yesterday, somebody broke into the shop at 36th street and dicks avenue. Police have no suspect in the crimes. The Transgender Community remembering one of its own. The fifth annual transmarch took on a somber mood after jenkins was killed last tuesday. Police say jenkins was attacked by at least five men before she was shot in the back. Her death is reigniting discussion about violence in the Transgender Community. When i found out, it hurt me. Theres people out here really cruel. And to do that to her, for what . Everybody is their own person. If you dont like them, you like them and if you do, you do. Police have no suspects in jenkins murder, and she is the second transgender woman to be murdered in philadelphia this year. Happening today, the annual columbus day parade. New from overnight, investigators say two people are dead after a small plane crashed into a home near the california and nevada border. Two people were believed to be inside the home when the plane went home, our nbc affiliate says authorities are not elaborating any further. A violent confrontation between two neighbors turns deadly and a deputy is injured after being shot with a cross bow. The man stabbed the neighbors brother with a pitchfork and once officers arrived the suspect shot a deputy with a cross bow and the other deputies killed the suspect. An officer that reasonably believes theres eminent danger of death or bodily harm has the right to defend himself or others. The deputy is in serious condition. Michigan state police will continue their investigation today. Much more than a night of music. The show was full of sinatra classics, plus an onstage surprise. The theme of the march was justice or else, and it was a change from 1995 when they were calling for help in helping families. Yesterday, and some of them made the same trip 20 years ago. 20 years ago, that was the most beautiful thing. I put that to go along with my children being born, to see that many black men together peacefully and trying to form a purpose. When you think about these times, these special times that we live in, we know that we are aiming for equity for everyone, and everyone is reaching out to know that we are one. President obama was a Community Organizers in chicago when he attended the original millionman march in 1995, and he was not at yesterdays event. The university of delaware is remembering nobel laureate, richard heck. He died friday in the philippines. Turkey is observing three days of mourning following a pair of suicide bombings that killed dozens of people.
