Winds are around 15 Miles Per Hour in some spots and 18 Miles Per Hour in philadelphia, and dover, 22 Miles Per Hour, and gusting higher than that in some spots especially along the coast we are seeing winds gusting up to 32 Miles Per Hour, and Atlantic City up to 28 Miles Per Hour, and were going to see that once again today. Its a cool start, 44 in mt. Pocono and 57 in philadelphia and 57 in millville and 58 in Atlantic City. One neighbor here said debris from that house hit the plumbing under her home. Inside it was dry yesterday, but the homeowner anticipates water. I am the fourth generation down here, so i am used to this. Its kind of i dont have rugs, i roll them up so they dont get wet every year. Water pushed through yesterday and some of the boards started coming up and that dock was put in after the original washed away during hurricane sandy. We are seeing winds, and i am sure you can hear the winds outside right now. We are seeing them gusting higher, up to 32 Miles Per Hour in Atlantic City, and we could see these winds gusting at 31 Miles Per Hour in mt. Pocono. We are waking up five degrees warmer compared to this time yesterday, so that puts us five degrees cooler. Just 44 degrees in mt. Pocono, and 57 in millville and 58 in Atlantic City. 55 by lunchtime, and by 4 00, 61. We will talk about improving conditions for your 7day straight ahead. She was driving home on thursday when the tree started to fall, and she was forced to make a decision as to hit the brakes or gas, and she accelerated causing the tree to crash in the back of her car and the tree brought down power lines. Emt came and it was surreal, and you see the tree coming and it was like it was in slow motion although it happened quickly. The woman was not injured but her car is a total loss. And hungary is urging other nations on the continent to control the flow of refugees across their borders, and without stemming the Migration Europe could be destabilized for a long time. You are looking at the latest group of migrants to survive the journey from turkey to the islands of greece, and dozens of refugees arrived in two small boats on friday night, and volunteers helped passengers. And the coast guard rescued dozens of migrants at sea, including a disabled woman. And then pointing to a gas stove that killed a woman. A highend stove was being disconnected from a gas line when the explosion happened. The explosion sent debris fly into the street which injured three people who were walking nearby. We believe it originated on the second floor. We have some indication that there was a stove exchange with a tenant, so thats what we believe was involved. Again, all preliminary those three people who were injured are all expected to survive, and Authorities Say the woman killed was the only person in that building at the time of the blast. The latest on joaquin, a category 3 storm right now, and 57 degrees in philadelphia, and a cool start to the day and will be a cool evened as well, around 63 degrees later this afternoon, and windy, the winds are still in place going northeast at 18 Miles Per Hour. We will be warmer compared to yesterday but well below normal for this time of year. Coastal flooding in the dark green, and delaware, high tide is later on this afternoon, around 2 00, and we could see additional flooding and Property Damage, and we have a Coastal Flood Advisory and thats in the light green and thats until midnight tonight. Lowlying roadways that are prone to flooding may see that once again. We are looking at clouds outside and clouds all throughout the day, and may see peeks of sunshine from time to time, and mainly dry throughout the day, and you can see that on radar, and we may see a sprinkle, a stray shower and that would be about it. Ana had been shot in the back and cory says she remembers every frightening moment. She said god was trying to tell her to stay calm and still and dont do anything. The gunman came walking up to her and said, girl in the black, you know, girl with the blond hair, stand up, and she stayed still. So she was playing dead exactly. The wherewithal and the presence and the calm it took to not lose it in a situation like that, shes so brave and strong and courageous, and she did exactly what she had to do. I dont know how many people could have done that and i dont know if i could have done that. His sister was blessed. The bullet to her spine narrowly missed critical nerves and her lungs, and cory raced to her side in the hospital. The first thing my sister did when a surgeon came in to ask her to explain the surgery, and she looked at him and said i just want one thing from you, i want the bullet from my gunshot wound and she started laughing, and shes an amazing person and i love her with all of my heart and i am proud of her and she is my hero. Shore communities bracing for another day of flooding. Our cameras found this back bay home in the Grassy Sound Channel in middletown ship, thats in Cape May County near wildwood yesterday. And ventnor, the waters slowly receded in Atlantic City last night and a quick cleanup here on arizona avenue, and down in wildwood, intersections consumed with two feet of water. Humvees patrolling the flooded neighborhoods to offer assistance there, and that was the only way to get around. Other people had to resort to paddling as we see here, as well as swimming. Water is everywhere. Yeah . Yeah. So you took the kayak out . Yeah. What has been it been like kayaking down your neighborhood . Fun, everybody is taking pictures. I have never seen it this bad. The scattered shower outages throughout the state and there could be more in store today. Folks we talked to are concerned about the daytime tide this afternoon as well, and in the digital operation center, Monique Braxton. Hurricane joaquin is still out at sea and the storm has been causing problems. Virginia beach where coastal flooding remains a threat for residents during high tide, and waves as high as seven feet are currently slamming the beach and further off the coast the storm is producing monster swells of about 16 feet. Officials say there has been minimal damage to the resort town, and they do report flooding along some road closures and wind gusts reached up to 45 Miles Per Hour yesterday. New this morning, local civil rights leader is in Critical Condition at Thomas Jefferson university hospital, the former head of the philadelphia naacp is 65 years old, and the philadelphia enquirer reports a he suffered a brain aneurism during kidney dialysis. And then video lead police to a teenager. You can see the 14yearold suspect trying to cover his face as he heads to the atm. Police say he is using a stolen credit card to with draw money, and the investigators tell us it was one of 15 armed robberies between late august and september and most of the victims were women. We always get a few of them every term, but this, it was like a few nights in a row we were getting them, and i was like, something is really going on. I got alerts on my phone, where the armed robberies were happening. On friday the officers spotted the teen allegedly seen on the video and arrested him. We are learning more about the mass shooting in roseburg, oregon, where a gunman killed nine people on the campus of a community college. The gunmans father said he had no idea his son has guns in his position. The student gunman took nine lives and then his own following a shootout with police. 16yearold fitzgerald said she was shot in the back but she survived by playing dead. She is having tough times and heal something going to be slow. The community gathered last night to pray for the wounded and remember those that lost their lives. Its about 6 37.
