Thats what we are going to be dealing with today. Some clouds with peeks of sun as well, and pull it out more and unlike yesterday we are not tracking a lot of rain heading our direction, but you see this area right here, its already weakening and so today it should be a mostly dry day and a day you can get outdoors and enjoy the Holiday Weekend. Temperatures right now, some 60s, some 50s. We are at 52 degrees in pottstown and allentown, but warmer for philadelphia at 63. Atlantic city at 61, and wilmington at 62. Temperatures today wont be much different than yesterday, just the forecast yesterday we hit 73 and today just a tad warmer. Take a look at the next few hours. We go from 63 right now and staying around through 8 00 a. M. , and low 70s close to lunchtime with the mostly cloudy conditions and winds that have shifted direction to an east flow, and that will mean again we dont see temperatures getting up to average, which is 77, and we will see where they do hit today, neighborhood by neighborhood with your planners coming up. A house fire in north philadelphia. Nbc10 is on the scene, and fire crews are dousing flames at this threestory home. He heres a live picture of the scene. We are trying to find out if anybody has been injured in the house fire. And then a Traditional Service will be recreated at Laurel Hill Cemetery to mark the memorial day weekend. A wreath laying, speeches and honor guards will honor veterans who died defending a nation. And now where medias memorial day parade will be head by phebgz of t media, fire and police department. And the khraoeuz dale horses will also take part in that parade. And then penns landing waterfront day will begin this morning. Heres a live look at where there will be a popup beer garden with entertainment. At the scene there were several cars that appear to be damaged and we are working to figure out the victims condition from that trash and we will bring you more details as soon as we get them. And then a man was shot on north willton street around 2 13 th this morning. Praise is pouring in with a teenager, and we spoke from him from his hospital bed and he told us he darted into the burning home yesterday, and he said his 1yearold nephew was still inside when flames and smoke from a toaster oven fire billowed out the window. I heard him on the couch, and i couldnt see, thats why i am tapping around and i felt him. It all happened, like, maybe 20 seconds but it felt like a lifetime. If i had to go through another fire to get another baby, i would do it. What a do guy. He suffered smoke inhalation, and he is doing well we are told and he is proud his family and neighborhoods are hailing him as a hero. Two people have died from a crash on a busy highway, two cars collided on state route 56. You can see from our video that First Responders were at the scene, and new Jersey State Police are investigating what caused that crash. Phillies fans are mourning the loss of a legend, jim bunning, died yesterday. He pitched for the phils in the 60s and 70s, and he was best known for fotossing a perfect ge in 1964. We will have reaction coming up from larry boa. And then a picture of bunnings jersey was taken skprbg the caption reads forever a phillies legend, rest in peace, jim. And then gregg allman has died. Allman passed away at his home in georgia and he was 69yearold. And his band performed hits like ramblin man and midnight rider, and he was married six times including once to cher, the singer. In portland, oregon, a man accused of stabbing two people to death is facing murder charges in what appears to be a hate crime. He screams antimuslim statements to two girls, and then two men intervened and he stabbed them, and a third man was wounded. This video shows christian yelling shoot me at the police just before they arrested him. Portland is a tolerant city, not used to seeing this type of hate. Two families have an empty seat at the dinner table. I was so scared. He was saying something about america. This is a free country. Christian is being held without bail and has an extensive criminal past, and the deadly stabbings came on the first day of the holy month, aramadan. And operations this morning after the discovery of a Pressure Cooker evacuated a terminal yesterday. Here it is in pictures. Port Authority Police say somebody spotted the cooker in a bag outside security screening. The terminal was cleared for about an hour and the police gave an all clear after no threat was found. British airways continues to fix a global computer failure that stranded tens of thousands of travelers. The glitch led the airline to cancel all flights from london yesterday, and a flight to london from philadelphia was also canceled. We are extremely sorry for the huge inconvenience this is causing our customers. We have no bags or a hotel because everything is booked up and now we have to stay in london and spend over 1,000 for a hotel room, and we are really, really, really angry. The airline hopes to restore full service sometimes today. We start with a view of philadelphia in center city looking over, and its hard to tell what is going on because theres haze to deal with, and so a bit of haze to start but theres also a mix of sun and clouds to start this morning off. Leaning towards the clouds but still seeing sun peek through. We are at 63 degrees at the airport, society hill and penn sport. And 59 for park. And then a light jacket will do it like yesterday. Yesterdays forecast as a whole will be like yesterday, a smidge warmer for the afternoon temperatures and no threat of any light showers. Most of us stayed dry yesterday, too. A little hard to tell, but there are some clouds hanging around the area and more clouds to come as we progress through the day, leading to the mostly cloudy forecast again but especially in the late part of the day we may see some of the clouds break again so some peeks of sunshine in the forecast as well. Neighborhood temperatures for us, mid70s for center city to somerton, and then the suburbs, mid70s and for the Lehigh Valley, and these temperatures arent bad today but they are just slightly below average for most areas. In new jersey, trenton at 75. And cooler on the jersey shore, and winds coming in from the east which means you have the onshore breeze and that keeps things cooler against the water.
