In the afternoon, most of our temperatures will be similar to yesterday, but some of us may be a few degrees warmer. Vineland now also at 60 degrees. Were almost to 60 now in allentown. Thats when you can tell youve got very warm air. Were not even into our afternoon hours and even allentown almost at 60. Radar and satellite scatter clouds in place right now. New this morning, a woman is in the hospital after being shot outside an exotic nightclub in north philadelphia. Nbc 10 was on the scene at second and cambria streets when witnesses say the woman was sitting in the car where someone old fire. No word on her condition and police have not made any arrests in this case. In another part of north philly, police are investigating a shooting at cecil b. Moore and dover street. Police took the victim to the hospital. No word on his condition either. The Philadelphia Police officer you see being wheeled into an ambulance here is in stable condition this morning. She was injured while officers were chasing several dirt bike riders through the streets of north philadelphia. Police began the pursuit after what sounded like gunshots. They saw men in dirt bikes take off in different directions. A witness said he saw one of the dirt bikes speeding in front of him cutting off cars along allegheny avenue. See cops running towards him. Its sthuf that shouldnt happen and yet its happening every single day. Police ended up arresting two men during their pursuit. As for the gunshots, one of the men told police it was his bike back firing. New details on a 2yearold child hit by a car. We learned the child is home from the hospital recovering from bruises. Police are still looking for the driver. An nbc 10 viewer sent us this video of a medical helicopter landing at the playground where it all happened yesterday. Police and a witness tell us the witne area was packed with children. Officers were in the area for another call. The witness explains that neighbors were shaken by what happened. Theres a lot of commotion. I heard a baby crying. I tried to take a closer look to see if anybody called for help or needed help. At that point i saw a car barrel down the alleyway. Investigators believe the driver didnt stop because he may not have felt the impact from hitting the small child. Nonetheless, they are trying to track him down. Police tell us that the driver was in a black toyota forerunner. They describe him as having gray hair and wearing sunglasses. This morning Pennsylvania State police are investigating a deadly crash in North Hampton county. Two cars collided head on at the intersection of route 611 and belvedere Martins Creek highway around midnight. One person died at the scene. Another victim was flown to the hospital with serious injuries. Philadelphia police have been very busy this morning searching for the gunman who shot four teenagers. Investigators tell us the teens had just left a party when somebody opened fire near conestoga and market streets around 9 00 last night. All four teens were rushed to the hospital. They are expected to be okay. In bucks county, the American Red Cross is helping more than a dozen people forced from their homes because of this fire at an apartment complex. Flames spread through one of the buildings at the Lake View Terrace apartments. Crews quickly arrived at the scene to snuff out the fire. Nobody was hurt here. This morning investigators will try to determine exactly what caused it. The Powerball Jackpot now more than 400 million. Reporter Karen Quigley learned about her from a friend in thailand and immediately saw something. She was a survivor. Reporter karen raised money online to bring her to the u. S. People are sending her little gifts and cards.
