The season is just about over for the eagles after the birds dropped their fourth straight game losing to the redskins at home. Jillian mele joins us live. Desperate times call for desperate measures. At one point, our good friend, john, couldnt snap the football and then it went to brent sellic. He snapped one and went over the guys head. They had to go to the third long snapper which most teams dont have a third string long snapper. It was like they were trying people out on the sidelines. Right. That was one of the more bizarre situations if you will on the broadcast yesterday. They were saying the eagles were holding a tryout for long snapper on the sideline, which we learned wasnt the case. John dornbons had a wrist injury and had to leave the game. Up next, the backup, brent sellic, goes in the game and throws a low snap. He got injured as well. He had to leave. Trey burton, who we learned later is their third stringer to fill in. Part of the confusion is, you saw linebacker, michael ken tricks on the sideline kind of practicing. Michael kendrinks said he took it upon himself. You never know. This is just something i practiced. That was what happened with that situation. Trey burton was successful when he came in. A more bizarre part of the game. You know when they learned he was the first string long snapper, when we learned it. We learned it all at the same time. He said the last time he had done it was in ota. He had practiced a little bit. Lucky, he was successful in doing that yesterday. Lets talk about desean jackson, another big game against the eagles. Rumors have been swirling off and on for i would say it heated up in the last month and a half. Desean jackson had a good game, finished up with three receptions. He said it was interesting the first time he had been back to the links that the fans hadnt booed him. Desean jackson was asked by a Security Guard, will we see you back here next year. He responded, well see. So i guess, guys, we will see. Yesterday was a Job Interview for him is what it was. He made a statement about coming back here if he does want to come back. He always does. It is one of those things. A lot of people would be happy to have him back considering the receiver position and what we have going on right there. When we find out, we will let you know. All right.
