New this morning, Philadelphia Police are talking with a person of interest in a hitandrun investigation just hours after two people were hurt. Nbc10 took this exclusive video of police leading the man out of his home in wissinoming. Police found the car that witnesses described at the accident scene parked in front of the house. It was that car that hit a man and woman walking in hunting park. The man is in very critical condition. The woman is in stable condition. New from overnight, police are investigating a double shooting in philadelphia that left one person dead. This happened just before 10 00 last night on North Marston and strawberry mansion. Were working to get more details from police on the victims and their search for the shooter. In cumberland county, a man is dead following a possible driveby shooting there. Police say the gunfire broke out yesterday afternoon on east chestnut street. They said the victim was shot while he was walking down the street. Investigators have not released the victims name or announced any arrests. Prosecutors today will continue to lay out their evidence tying eric frein to the ambush shooting of two Pennsylvania State troopers. Frein is accused of killing a trooper and wounding another in an ambush outside their barracks in the poconos in 2014. On friday, his father testified for the prosecution saying he hadnt been in their home for months before the shooting. The gateway project is a 24 billion proposal to double the capacity of trains along the northeast corridor including penn station. It needs federal funding. President trump has promised a trilliondollar infrastructure plan. When he revealed his budget in march, it showed a 2. 4 billion cut from the transportation budget. Vital to our northeast economy, and it makes a world of sense. This is the most urgent Infrastructure Project in america. It cant go forward without federal commitment. It cant. This is completely in jeopardy. Experts agree this is a National Issue that Needs National money to fix. At the jersey shore, a baby seal is getting the help it needs after being rescued from a beach in cape may. The little seal was found stranded saturday on the Coast Guard Training Center beach. Rescuers from the coast guard and the Marine Mammal stranding center jumped into action to save the baby. They took it to the stranding center for evaluation. Experts say more seals than normal have been stranded this spring along the beaches on the east coast. Well, a new honor for philadelphias dawn staley.
