Attorney in manhattan tells nbc news rahami will first face charges in federal court in manhattan. Theres no word on when that will happen. When it does, hell be transported from new jersey to new york by u. S. Marshals. Ahmad rahami is seen in the Surveillance Video 37 minutes before the bomb went off. 31 people were hurt. Rahami is captured a second time on surveillance walking near the spot on 27th street in new york where another bomb was placed. The complaint says investigators found rahamis fingerprints on multiple bombs, including the bombs that were found near a train station in elizabeth, new jersey sunday night. We understand there were handwritten documents found with that bomb but investigators havent said what was written. Authorities in new jersey have charged him with attempting to use weapons of mass destruction for that bomb and another bomb that was left in seaside park, new jersey. That bomb was planted in a trash can along a 5k race route. Authorities have connected rahami to the purchase of cell phones used in the bombs. Investigators also recovered a journal of rahamis where he wrote god willing the sounds of bombs will be heard in the streets, gunshots to your police, death to your oppression. Were learning more about rahamis past, including his recent travels to pakistan and afghanistan. Coming up in the next half hour, well talk about that. Another driver who tried to merge into traffic tells nbc 10 the man behind the wheel of the truck is a Police Officer and pulled out a gun. The driver tells us hes shocked by what he witnessed yesterday afternoon, even more shocked by who he says was behind wheel. Take a look at that video once again. An nbc 10 camera was there and caught the tail end of the incidentc. This was on the roosevelt boulevard just past the merge from city avenue. A pickup truck cut off a mans car and says that the truck kept weaving in and out of lanes. There was a bit of traffic at the time. Most drivers eventually shared a verbal exchange and khalil says the pickup driver was wearing a blue police uniform. He had tattoos on his left arm and khalil says the man pulled out his gun. He kept coming to my lane closer and closer. And he put his window down, started cursing at me, telling me, [ bleep ] go back to your country. The pickup truck was marked with a punisher decal with an American Flag and a thin blue line, a Philadelphia Police sticker and a fraternal order of police license plate. Now, khalil took all of that info to Philadelphia Police to internal affairs where he was interviewed for more than an hour yesterday afternoon. The Police Department tells us they take these allegations very seriously and an investigation is under way. Investigators say when the driver pulled up to an atm, a man walked over with a gun. The driver took off but then he went back to get his card he had forgot innocent machine. Six people were killed, 12 injured within a Center City Building being demolished collapseden to a Salvation Army building in 2013. A seventh person later died of his injuries. The Building Owner and the Salvation Army had no connection to the collapse. Testimony is expected to last for at least two months. The Construction Contractor and excavator operator were criminally charged and convicted for causing the deadly collapse. Former eagles running back lesean mccoy is the target of a civil lawsuit.
