Some want the statue removed, others want to day put. This morning that statue of frank rizzo remains untouched, but the conversation continues and one Council Woman wants the conversation to end with the statue taken out. The controversy surrounding rizzos tactics in leadership while in office, many have called him a racist. This is not the first time that there has been a call to remove the statue. Last year activists called for rizzos statue to be taken down and last night swoon pomeone pu sign around the statue, also an egg was thrown at it and some recently signed a petition to keep the statue right where it is. The march is meant to unmask White Supremacy in philadelphia institutions. Organizers say they already have hundreds planning to show up. In charlottesville, the community will gather to mourn the woman who died after a car rammed through a crowd. Heather heyers family hopes people will wear her favorite color purple. Yesterday heyers father says he forgives the man who ran down his daughter and encouraged others to stop hating and forgive. And in bucks county, local leaders spoke to a crowd gathered at the garden of reflection. They called on the community and the nation to move forward in the spirit of diversity, inclusion and peace.
