It was just a quarter after 1 00 this morning when the suspect walked through the front door of that bar. I want to take you inside right now. The owner was here and allowed us to get this video. He did not want to speak though. Its been a long morning for him. The manager who was shot and killed here, it was his son. The circus is ending its run after 146 years. We have a closer look at their final acts in south philadelphia. Reporter its been a Family Tradition for 146 years and is making its final stop in philadelphia. The ringling brothers Barnum Bailey circus is in town and we are on the floor. And the theme is out of this world. The circus organizers announced last month the circus will be ending in may in part due to declining attendance, high costs, and animals used in performances. The first time they came to philly was back in 1906. More than a hundred years coming to our area. I spoke to some of the performers this morning. Well, i was a big fan of the circus growing up. It was a tradition of mine and my familys to come and watch the greatest show on earth. It was my love for animals that led me here. Six years ago i was able to start riding horses and elephants here in the circus. Of course, this is the final tour. Is it a little bittersweet . Its definitely bittersweet. Be sure and look at the bottom of the screen for your local sevenday neighborhood forecast. I do, however, want to show you this drought level monitor. It is the latest that has been issued. Really important because sometimes we dont appreciate the fact we do need some rain. You can see here in the yellows abnormally dry conditions, lingering water deficit. This is not terrible. We do have some rain moving in later next week, but we certainly could use that rain. But in the meantime, be sure and enjoy this high and dry weekend. Overnight lows mainly seeing 20s, a couple of 30s. Philadelphia, 32 degrees. Wilmington, 33 and dover. Overnight lows 34 for you. Were going to trend warm. Todays high 45. Our overnight low staying in the 30s, and on saturday it looks like well top out in the 60s, mid to upper 60s, with a mix of sun and clouds. Im probably going to go with sunny on sunday. 66 degrees. Overnight lows a little bit warmer saturday into sunday. On monday we have sunny skis, temperatures dipping into the upper 50s. Lower 50s on tuesday. I have mostly cloudy skies on wednesday. Temperatures in the upper 50s. We may see some scattered showers, but im sticking with those clouds for now. Pennsylvanias first crab distillery is now open in philadelphia. We were in fishtown last night for the grand opening of philadelphia distilling. Police looking for the gunman who killed a bar manager in north philadelphia. The victim was the bar manager at moniques lounge. Also the owners son. The gunman got into a struggle with the manager this morning, shot him in the chest. He announced a robbery. He took 175 for the bartender. Then took the managers wallet and ran away. This is going to be extremely youll all be popular this weekend, all you meteorologists. Yea. Get a lot of hands on twitter. The groundhog was wrong. Yes, finally. Didnt he predict six more weeks of winter . Not the deal. Were going to trend nice and warm. 65 on saturday. 66 on sunday. I couldnt emphasize this off guys because we dont see upper 60s until april. Like april 26th is the normal high of 66 degrees. Were going to be way above normal. We trend a little bit colder by monday and tuesday. Then right back up on wednesday and thursday. We might be getting some rain showers, but thats not until later next week. Were laser focused on saturday and sunday. And even monday it looks pretty good, right .
