An overnight tanker truck crash and fuel spill continues to tie up traffic in bucks county this morning. Officials say the northbound lanes of route 611 in warrington will remain closed until noon. Crews are removing fuel that spilled into a storm drain near the accident scene. They are confident nearly all the fuel is contained in that storm drain. The Fire Department says there will be no effect on the water supply in the area because the people use a public well system that is located a good distance away from that crash. Throughout the morning we have been following it, and it actually just has been improving all morning, which is the good part. Earlier we had all lanes closed in both directions, north and southbound on easton road just beyond freedom way. Now we have the southbound side open, but the northbound lanes are closed and theyll be closed until noon. You can follow the local detours around the scene. Were past the morning rush. Police are searching for whoever shot and killed a teenager in west oak lane. They tell us the 18yearold was shot at his home on north 15th street and 67th avenue. Then he ran to his neighbors home. Thats where officers found him. They took him to the hospital where he later died. Philadelphia Police Arrested three men following a Home Invasion on 66th street in the southwest section of the city. Investigators say the men were armed with a gun and a knife. They tied up two women and took 1500 in jewelry from that home. A man who tried to rob a philadelphia deli is in the hospital this morning after the stores owner shot him. Police say the man had a gun when he went in the store and announced he was robbing it. The deli is located at 65th and lebanon avenue in overbrook. The owner pulled out his own gun and shot the suspect. The owner does have a permit to carry. In kent county, loved ones and colleagues of corrections officer lieutenant steven floyd will be paying their final respects at a viewing tonight. The funeral is tomorrow. It is really serious what the inmates want out of this, and somebody better take some action real quick. Delaware governor john carney is promising an independent investigation into the uprising that killed lieutenant floyd. Penn state fraternity and Sorority Parties are now dry following the death of a student from new jersey. Members of Beta Theta Pi told officers a friend fell down the stairs when he was drunk. Were hearing from the man who rescued a starving dog that was tied up on the bank of a river in Cumberland County. The man was out for a walk last friday when he found the severely underweight dog chained to a tree in bridgeton. The dog was inside an upside down plastic carrier. Imagine if it was high tide.
