That the jury returned to the courtroom to read the verdict. Guilty on all counts, that includes the capital murder charge for the killing of brian dixon, the attempted murder charge of injuring douglas and other charges like terrorism and weapons of mass destruction. This verdict capping off a long two and a half years in pike county. And after the sniper ambush, the ensuing 48day manhunt and now the trial. In closing arguments, the District Attorney was blunt calling frein a terrorist with murder in his heart and a rifle in his hand. The jury saw that rifle, plus a lot of other evidence including Surveillance Video of the attack. And for two hours, the prosecution recapped their evidence. The defense only spoke for ten minutes. Frein kept quiet and the next step is seeking the Death Penalty in this case. We will be working towards the appropriate sentencing verdict in this case with aggravating factors were going to ask the jury to consider the appropriate sentence in this case.
