In fact i spoke to a Philadelphia Water Department crewmember not too long ago who tells me they have identified the water main, they have identified the break, theyre work completely shut off the valve. But the damage is done, you can see the gallons of water spilled out of this water main, this whole area cordoned off because investigators are going to have to get in here and find out where the break happened and what to do next. You can see an incredible show of response by emergency crews, firefighters are on scene, hazmat crews are on scene. In fact they just landed their helicopter a short time ago. Theres no reports of any injuries. The question is how much water actually spilled out here, these water mains that are four feet around, they can carry hundreds of millions of gallons of water, the next step to figure how much water lost and then the cleanup. What we do know at this point that the county felt this was such a severe problem that they gave absentee voters more time to send their ballots back. Absentee voters have until tuesday to return those ballots.
